Has anyone had to try and avoid anyone at a club, party or social gathering ,and did it make you feel uncomfortable? If so what did you do to over come this?

Or has it made you feel like you can not attend in case it ruins your night

if we go somewhere where there is someone we don't really want to interact with we just carry on with our evening a if they aren't there. We don't feel like we can't attend.

We recently turned down an invite to a small party because we didn't want to socialise with someone we had a previous issue with. We would rather not attend than have an awkward situation. But that's only because it was a small gathering. If I was attending a club and there were people going I wasn't keen on, I'd still attend and maybe just avoid or ignore. I wouldn't let it spoil my night and wouldn't want to spoil theirs.

I usually avoid by just focusing on what ever it is I'm doing to have fun.
