How does everyone handle this? I often have a great laugh and a joke with couples but then after a couple of hours it feels very uncomfortable to play and it feels false. Discussing kids and families etc makes play strange whereas in a playroom in a club there is no awkwardness at all.

What do you all think?

We've had a few socials that have then led to play. Sometimes u just hit it off! I love meeting other swingers. Its nice to be able to talk about our lifestyle with others and it can also make u very horny! I love swapping stories about our adventures and usually after a wine or two its nice to have an unexpected play. Yummy

If it was just me then we would never have a social that led to play.... Thankfully Mr always seems to time his cheeky naughty invite to play at the right moment

That's the problem... It feels like a coffee morning and even swinging chat is not sexy to be honest. So it almost needs a " right shall we get our clothes off" if there is a gap in chatter.... Not exciting lol

I would almost prefer to play first and chat afterwards

Thinking about it we mainly go out with the intention to play if everyone is in agreement and don't do that many socials!

If we do go out then we do talk about work kids etc but soon enough the conversation turns to sex and swinging. Especially if there's a lot of flirting going on

We have found that talking to people too much at Clubs has put us off going further (not about looks, just takes us off the boil talking about the vanilla world) but chatting via the forum/mail and then meeting up at a Club has been way easier!

Guess we're not so much looking for friends as playmates, happy to talk after but before we'd rather conversations were short and sweet!
