Why do some people put up meets for single guys and couples? But on there profile you can't message them if your a single guy, WTF

So they can do the searching themselves, without getting bombarded. Or if folk are on there friends list already they can get in touch,

Because they could be appealing to people they have already spoken to or have on their friends list... Which wouldn't have that block in place....

Or as others have said they may well be the people to do the searching or which I gather a wink now will negate the block.....

I think the friends list thing is the usual answer...people who have had some contact, even if chatting enough to add to friends...means people won't be bombarded and are just letting the circle they move in know they are planning a meet. Nothing wrong with that

I guess some other people don't know they are blocking, but will presumably soon realise when the 200 replies from single men [or whoever] don't arrive!
