If you write on your status it will show up to all the people local to you,you don't have to do anything it just happens

you need to write something in your "current status" bar..... which should be just underneath home icon in the top left hand corner...

fill that in and your Update will appear to everyone in your postcode....

It is worth checking the postcode you have entered. You could be local to somewhere completely different.

you wont see your own updates in local updates

but every one else will
