Guys do it all the time!

I met a guy a few years ago now who was older than me, some how or another the age fairies paid him a visit and he is now younger

I find men 40+ tend to knock 5 years off on average and no they don't look it but I am too polite to say and yes some genuinely have had a hard paper round

Age isn't the first thing I look for, so showing your real age wouldn't dissuade me from contacting you.

My age filters are quite wide, it's people with personalities I like to connect with, not numbers.

Why do you need 'help' op?? You either choose to be honest about your age or you don't! Assuming you set up this thread so we can all tell you how amazing you look? Yep - you have a great body op - no problem there! But if you've taken more than 4or5 years off your real age it'll be apparent when people meet you in the flesh - and personally I'd be gutted if someone met me and was disappointed! I've met/seen people out who are clearly far older than their profile age - and they're kidding no one but themselves!

Frankly, as a female you can get plenty of meets without lying about your age - it's the poor guys who struggle! Xx

Whatever age you are you look pretty good but, especially as you're looking for guys who are 45 and younger, I think you're being a little disingenuous not telling the truth about your own age.

I honestly think you'll find that having your real age on your, otherwise fantastic profile, will make much if any difference to the results you get but it will make you feel a lot better about yourself when you know you can pull the guys you want whilst being you, not something else.

Like I've already said to the OP, I don't think if you put your real age on it would change your results much; generally guys just aren't that bothered about age as women seem to be. It's what you look like (which in your case is very good) and, later on, who and what you are (which in your case, having started with a pretty big lie, is not so good). Trust yourself, you're good enough not to have to lie about your age.

I'd tell the truth - then you don't have to "watch yourself" constantly. I'm 51 and we get contacted all the time by younger guys and couples - so it WON'T affect your "pulling power"

We were messaging with a couple and he was listed as 55. Suddenly his profile says 50. He LOOKS 60 - and when I googled his mobile number I discovered he is married as well (to someone besides his swinging partner). Needless to say they're now goners. Lying is just bad all around - a few minor detail changes to protect anonymity perhaps, but outright lying is just disrespectful.

I just want to add that me saying I am 65 makes no difference to the age of the people who message me or want to take me out. People are just as complimentary. I dont like to lie nor do I want to be lied or misled myself.

There is no shame in being in your 50's you have life experience and a great body. Just embrace it you wont be any less popular believe me.

I've never lied about my age, then gone online to tell everyone I've lied about my age and ask whether I should tell the truth, then decided, online, to keep on lying about my age.

I'm 43. I would hope people we've met will agree I don't look it. If I knocked a decade off no one would question it and eliminating our age gap would likely get us more meets. But we'd rather meet people who are interested in us for what we are. Besides I'm shallow and I like the since 'you don't look it' compliments. 1. I've looked and yes, I've fabbed. You look great.

2. Age? I'm interested on two counts. The first being if you're below my minimum age then. No thanks. The second, in the opposite direction, if you claim your 50 something and you're older, I do like to know. This is so I can have a paramedic on standby just in case we overdo our exertions a little and put a few joints out in the process and need assistance.

3. For me it's about mutual attraction, physical and mental and personality. It's not about our age
