Profile refreshed - constructive feedback welcomed!

Hi - sorry this is another self indulgent 'look at me' type thread but I am genuinely after constructive feedback please!
After 8 months or so with an unchanged profile I thought it was time to tweak it a little and freshen it up for the Spring. I've changed about 40% with 60% remaking from the 'old' profile.
I've tried to listen to the feedback on the multitude of other threads on this. I have a lot I want to say but slightly worried it is too long and people will lose the will to read on? Is the content right too? Anything to add / remove?
Also I will adding new pics in the not too distant future too.

. Well written and detailed . Two points . 1. Body pictures always look better if they include your face / head . I would take a full body picture but exclude your head . 2. The profile states lots of your requirements but not a lot about yourself and the type of person that you are . There is no reference to your hobbies or interests . As the feedback from others including me , I hope it brings the required results . |

Thank you Patrick. Good feedback. Yes I will take that on board, will be doing some new pics in the near future. Also a good point about what I'm like. I will consolidate feedback from the thread and later attempt a profile version 1.1! |

Personally I found it generic so my eyes glazed. Lost interest when I got to the "in relationship but on here alone". Kudos though for saying you were being up front instead of "honest".
Every pot has its lid as they say, from previous comments it appears you may have found some that fit!  |

I'd put the bit about being in a relationship first so people like myself who don't want to meet attached people can see straight away without having read through it but well done for actually being honest about it. A better variety of pics might help. |

. I meant to say you should include your face and head but use digital imaging to blur your face so that you cannot be recognised . I alway think that pictures without your face can be a bit pointless . |

I'm gonna slightly squeeze in here and say I like long profiles because I like reading about the person. Doesn't matter if I'm never gonna meet them, it's just nice to read interesting things about people. The ones that say 'here for fun' are crap. |

The only thing we don't understand with people who are being honest on here about being attached/married, is why they cannot carry that honesty into their relationship.

He might be, it doesn't state that she doesn't know. Either way, its no one else's business. He's made it clear he's attached and that's all I need to know to make a decision. |

Hi all thanks for all the feedback, I really appreciate it.
I understand the married thing is not to everyone's taste or morals and is an instant block but I'd rather let people make their own minds up with an informed decision than pretend (like many on here do) I'm a truly 'single' guy.

There are a lot of guys who bullshit on here, and you are right in saying by being upfront people can make choices.

I don't get any sense of personality from it. It seems a bit blah and almost like its been written to please everyone rather than from what you really want.
A bit more humour, and as an attached fella - probably shorter and put the attached bit higher up.

Thank you, yes a common theme seems to be reduce if a bit and make the attached bit earlier. I'll address this when I re-tweak a little later. |

Thank you all both on here and a surprising number of PMs too! I really appreciate that you've taken time to read it and help a fellow Fabber!
So in summary, some like it as it is, some think it's too long and dry!
I think I will try and trim it a little and promote the attached caveat a little earlier!
Will hopefully tweak it tomorrow and also get a few new pics over the next few weeks!
