hi everyone we really want to try a swingers club however we are finding the little details are putting us off
so information is grateful. reading info of some sites doesnt give the information we need.
Think info would be good for others in same position as us. i know each answer would be different for each club
so be nice for everyone to contribute and share there info
here the info we would like to know about each club please try give as much detial as posible

do you have to have mebership?
is there a age ristriction from and to?
for first timers do we need to do anything before we go or when we arrive?
time and days open?

what is acceptable to wear?
what not acceptable to wear?
at what point do you get naked
licencened to sell alchol? if no is it safe for it to be stored behind counter? does anyone else have access to it? just worried about being spiked.
Have lockers? how big? is possesions safe. do you get a key? if you get a key how do you keep a watch over it during action? are the lockers monitored?
do they have a area where its like a clubs atmosphere where u can chat, drink socialise with clothes on

lol i know its a lot of questions but it be nice to have all the information. what ive noticed if i check the sites, they dont have all the information and some give vague information. we emailed one club and didnt get a reply hence why we asking here, we have read reviews on people who have phone for information to find out when they arrive the information to be wrong.
My opionion if we did get a reply from each club they are going to twist and make there club sound the best just like there websites.
i like to hear from people who have actually been and can give the bad points aswell as the good |

loads of reviews in the clubs section..............check the people making the review and if any are in your "catchment" area then private message them....im sure they will be happy to help |

i can understand the OP, cuz i searched forums every were and club reviews. none tell u a lot that they have asked. its a good post i think .

Some reasonable questions but you are possibly getting bogged down in the detail. If you read the reviews to get a basic idea, at the worst you can always walk out, although it will obviously cost you the entry fee. Some will let you look round first before you pay so you can get an idea if you like it or not.
Anyway, although I am not a regular to clubs these days, of the ones I use I quite like Cupids so here are the answers to your questions, as far as I am able.

location: Swinton
do you have to have membership?: As a couple - no
is there a age restriction from and to?: Not to my knowledge other than for legal reasons
for first timers do we need to do anything before we go or when we arrive?: Not that I can think of, other than be open minded
time and days open?: See website, busy nights are Tuesdays (no idea why) Fridays and Saturdays
prices: See website but last time I went it was £20 for a couple and no membership
what is acceptable to wear? Guys - towel, ladies underwear and/or towel
what not acceptable to wear?: Regular clothes
at what point do you get naked: Up to you
licencened to sell alcohol?: No
if no is it safe for it to be stored behind counter?: Yes
does anyone else have access to it?: No just worried about being spiked.
Have lockers? how big? is possesions safe. do you get a key? if you get a key how do you keep a watch over it during action? are the lockers monitored?: No lockers but box supplied for valuables and these are kept behind counter
do they have a area where its like a clubs atmosphere where u can chat, drink socialise with clothes on: Yes but wearing towels etc as mentioned about
do they accept single males?: Yes
do they limit single males?: Not as far as I know
do they have couple only days?: Not as far as I know
do they allow camcorders or cameras: No, in fact I am not sure any club will allow that
does everyone share the showers?: Yes both of them
does it have a smoking area: Yes
have carparking?: No on the street but monitored
how busy on average each day open is please estimate how many couples/single girls etc.. See above for best nights, no idea on numbers
do they have rooms to be able to stay overnight?: No
do the clubs hire working girls?: Not to my knowledge, although I think they used to do in the daytimes but not at night
do they provide condoms or sell them? can you bring your own: Yes sell them and Yes you can bring your own
do they supply towels? can you bring your own? or do you have to bring your own?: They supply them
do they have sauna? jacuzzi? swimming pool?: Sauna, jacuzzi no pool

do they have a pool table?: Yes
was your experiece to this club a good one: Mainly yes and I have been quite a few times over the years
any bad/negative points?: It's in Manchester

thats reads like a test paper... I was never good at exams!!! lol
after reading it all, seriously, if i had thought about that lot beforehand I don't think I would ever have stepped foot inside a club!!!!
a lot of the basic's are on most clubs websites.... the rest is normally a case of trial and error, for examples some nights may be busier then others....and so on.....

Good grief! I got halfway through your post and gave up...I have just done 14 hrs at work though lol
We just looked at club reviews and club websites and took it from there,most give a decent enough amount of info and if they hav'nt you can always contact them to ask more questions,they'll be happy to help if it means getting you through the door

I think you are getting bogged down in the niff-naff and trivia, if you are that bothered by all of this then maybe you shouldnt go to a club, however, here are the details of the club we go to.
name of club - Chameleons
location - Newport South Wales
do you have to have membership? _ yes
is there a age ristriction from and to? - only that you must be of legal age
for first timers do we need to do anything before we go or when we arrive? - provide two forms of ID
time and days open? - Friday (8.30pm - 4am) and Saturday (8.30pm - 4am) nights
prices - £20 on fri, £25 on Sat, £6 annual membership for couples
what is acceptable to wear? - towels for guys, sexy undies or towels for girls
what not acceptable to wear? - anything else
at what point do you get naked - you dont have to
licencened to sell alchol? - No. if no is it safe for it to be stored behind counter? - Yes. does anyone else have access to it? - only staff. just worried about being spiked.
Have lockers? - Yes how big? - quite big is possesions safe - yes. do you get a key? - yes if you get a key how do you keep a watch over it during action? - its on a strong rubber band, put it around your wrist. are the lockers monitored? - yes.
do they have a area where its like a clubs atmosphere where u can chat, drink socialise with clothes on - not with clothes on, but there is a bar area where its unusual to see any action, its mostly people chatting etc
do they accept single males? - yes. do they limit single males? - i think so. do they have couple only days? - no.

how busy on average each day open is please estimate how many couples/single girls etc.. - can be very busy, can be very quiet, take pot luck.

Hi well we go to Buddies in Blackpool so we will give you the information on that

is there a age ristriction from and to? 18 upwards but everyone tends to be in there 30s
for first timers do we need to do anything before we go or when we arrive? No just pack some clothes that you feel comfortable in and maybe something a bit more sexy if you want to change into it later
time and days open? Friday and Saturday Night ...
prices Buddies is also a hotel so you pay £80 per couple for 2 nites or £50 per couple for the one night .. this includes breakfast and we find the hotel rooms are very clean and modern .. plus the advantage of it being a hotel as well is that you can always escape to your hotel room if you want to play privately or you feel to overwhelmed ..
what is acceptable to wear? Anything you feel comfortable in .. most women tend to wear a nice dress or similar and then lots of them change into something a bit more sexy as the night progresses however there is no pressure to do this. It is all about what makes you feel comfortable.
what not acceptable to wear? again as the question above .. nothing is out of bounds there you just wear whatever makes you feel comfortable
at what point do you get naked When you decide to play .. thats if you decide to play but as I stated above you dont have to play in any of the playrooms you have the luxury of having your own room to go play in if this is more comfortable for you

They sell alcohol so no worries about taking your own .. we also find it much cheaper them most pubs and clubs so that is an added bonus...

yes they have a large bar area which everyone tends to sit and chat and then the playrooms are off a corridor so you only go down there if you want to play or watch ..
do they accept single males? do they limit single males? do they have couple only days? they do allow single males although they are very strict on who they let in .. all the single males that go there tend to be regulars that the owners and hosts know very well and are trustworthy .. they are limited as well

You can use whatever you want in your own room however when it comes to downstairs i believe that pictures can only be taken if u can ensure no one else is in the photo with out permission

We tend to just go on the Saturday night which can have around 30 couples etc sometimes more .. maybe a couple of single girls and 3 or 4 single guys .. Friday night is mre a social night with people just getting aquainted .. however this can also be a busy night .. Saturday is always busy though ..

do they provide condoms or sell them? can you bring your own You bring your own although i think they do have some behind the bar .. but would have to check that .. but i think everyone takes there own cause evryone has there own preference to what they prefer to use

do they have sauna? jacuzzi? swimming pool? Unfortunately not although i hink it is something the owner is looking into
hom many rooms are there? how big? there is 3 large playrooms .. one is private if you wish and they all have the leather feel beds so they are easily cleaned .. so no nasty stains or odours .. also your own bedroom
do they have a pool table? Yes they do and this is quite a good feature as this tends to be quite a good party starter and always tends to have the women playing strip pool lol .. just relaxes people and makes them more comfortable
was your experiece to this club a good one Yes very much .. we have been to lots and lots of clubs including all of them in Blackpool and this was by far the best .. I think the people that go speak volumes as most tend to travel quite some distance to get there .. we cant recommend it more to people as it is such a relaxed non pushy atmosphere.

All we can say is have a look at the websites etc .. most clubs have one .. we would never go to a club that you have to take your own alcohol to .. the ones where they are allowed to serve alcohol are obviously properly licensed and checked by the relevant authorities and i personally think it speaks volumes .. However this is only our opinion and i guess like we did you have to try these places out before you can settle on your regular club ..

I think the OP is hoping for too much - or are they trying to write a swingers club guide, and getting us to do the work?
"Is there a pool table?" - if you need to know that before going to a swingers club, I think you've got the wrong hobby! And decrease the paranoia about drinks being spiked - what sort of scene do you think this is?

anything else you think be nice for others to know: There is a white line on the floor around each play area - you cant cross without permission if someone already playing. All play areas are visible to other players - if you want to go somewhere totally private, try a hotel! Swingers clubs are not for the shy or introverted! The great thing about this club are the owners who are fabulous - and there is no pressure on anyone to do anything so great for newbies who just want to watch and think about playing. |

The easiest way is to check the clubs section and then check the website of your chosen club.
If a club's worth going to they will be happy to answer all your questions. After all, every club has it's own rules and way of doing things.

Hi there, The first thing you need to do is ask yourself what you are looking for in a Club, all in all its a building with rooms and basic rules, and likes and dislikes are formed alot on your frame of mind at the time , most clubs run a similiar set of rules guidelines, you need to be asking, what night should you go on, as this will define quite often who is there and amounts in the building.
If it is down to preferences, there are to many variables to account for each individual, the writing would be endless

hi All,
although not so new to the swinging scene, am new to swinging clubs, have been to a local one twice now, and me and my swinging partner wondered what the etiquette is at clubs?
We are both keen to play with other people, and where as a f, its not overly hard if i wanted to play with another man, but we wondered how you go about it with other couples and other fems. |

well no matter what club you go to, its about how much you put into it...
if your gonna sit in a corner all night at wait then you may be in for a dull night and think im not going there again, but if you make the effort to chat to people then you will be pleasantly supprised at just how many people are in the same situation as you...
