Used to be a preference for me but now my partner could be described this way, when we swing together, I prefer bi guys or TVs, so preferences can change. There are number of ways to approach the original question. Let's assume the phrase BBC is stereotypical, however giving the number of people on this site who prefer white males only if you are a black man with a BBC you know the profile is worth contacting.
However if you take BBC as short hand such as gsoh, bbw, tvs, or bi then it is no more than indicator of preference.
My underlying concern with OP's question is more the perennial problem with race and having seen many threads in relation to profiles requesting 'white only' I just say that is their preference, its not my business and get on with my own life!
