Hi All
Thank you firstly for looking at my post.
I'm a single guy and work along with family commitments at weekends.
I don't have time for a relationship not would it be fair as I travel a lot. Sadly this is the same for many people out there ( probably most of the singles on here lol )
Anyway I still have needs and I'm very interested in the swinging scene but I'm unsure how to start? Now I know everyone on here will say "hey goto a party" seriously I would love to but I'm nervous if I'm honest. 
So my question is really how would you suggest getting started?
P.S anyone's experiences on how they got started is great fully received.

As a single man your chances of getting one-on-one meets are slim. Your chances of getting invited to house parties as an unknown are also slim. So if you are really interested in the scene, then the best option for you would be to start meeting people at Swing clubs. Most have at least one night a week where single men are allowed. Don't be scared, they are friendly enough and most people are happy to chat to you, even if they don't want to play with you.
If you are really interested in the lifestyle itself, and not just NSA sex, then get yourself a free education by listening to the "Life on the Swing Set" podcast. It will certainly make your long commutes more interesting  |

We started by going to a club on a single guys night figured we wanted to start at the deep end. We saw hard fun and how easy it was and never looked back. Granted its a lot harder on your own but bite the bullet and go. Once your through the door within half an hour you won't know what you were worried about. |

Social event...or hold your own party?
I was on another site prior to moving to Malvern when I joined fab. I was lucky to get a couple of single 1 to 1 meets in first couple of weeks. However things really took off when I held a little party..... Not sure if you can...but maybe think of giving it a go? |

It's really pleasing to see some great advice and comments on this thread as a single guy I know how had it is I have not had one single meet in over the three years of being on this site but it has given me the opportunity to go to parties and I know attend South London swingers in Sutton as often as I can, so keep persevering and it may well happen am hoping that by posting on here it may help to good luck and all the best Play  |
