To old at 50 ?

As a male on fabs I wonder if I'm now to old.

Although I still feel like a 25 y.o and I believe I'm a decent guy I truly think that there's to much competition.

I see time after time restrictions and posts as the target audience for women and couples are young hunks. I can't compete with this and more often then not I'm blocked an unable to compete anyway. Lol

This isn't posted out of sour grapes as I love this site and use it to keep in touch with my club friends. But I think I'm better off sticking to just that rather then face rejection.

So unlike life where 50 is the new 40 here it feels like 50 is the new 65...retire.

I'm definitely not looking for young hunks...

There will be people out there who are interested in you. Focus on them and not the ones that aren't.

FWIW the married part would put me off not the age.

Don't be ridiculous - you are far from being too old!! There are many women, like me, who much prefer an older man - someone who really does know what he's doing and not just talking the talk.

Keep swinging and be happy!

What nonsense..too old at 50...

As for rejection.everyone has to deal with that, its a huge part of sites such as this..dont take it too personal and move on

Thank goodness people want different things.some people reject around age/size/marital status etc..have fun.

I have the occasional thought about am I to old, usually when I'm thinking if I could join a club like Chams or Xtasia, that's what's put me of trying yet. But when I look round I think I'm in better shape than some of the younger guys so perhaps it's all in my head.

At 50 or whatever age, if your healthy then your never to old if you enjoy it.

It is fashionable on Fab to block any guy over 50 for some strange reason but to each their own, at 53 I still do as good as any younger guy on here so it evens itself out.

Have to say - the OP and the other guy over 50 saying age is a problem have very sparse, short profiles that don't give women any insight into the person at all.

I think that's a big part of the problem. Easy to hit on age as an issue, but you've got to put some effort in guys.

I'm not that much younger really - I think there's ways to capitalise on the fact you're 50+ but, to be honest, I'm sure you're old enough and wise enough to figure them out

I have similar concerns about turning 60 2 weeks ago. However I don't look my age, we have lots of swinging friends and people don't ask your age in clubs. I don't expect to be getting together with people in their twenties but the swinging world is full of very sexy middle-aged couples and we love it.

Would love to be 50 again (would have started back at the gym sooner) but am making the most of what I have now.

We met when we were both over 50 and started swinging soon after. Now many years later it is very much a regular part of our lives - we have regular friends but still need and enjoy those new encounters. In fact we are having as much fun sex as we did when we were promiscuous teens and twenties. You are too old when it's no longer enjoyable or you can't do it and neither of us are anywhere near that stage!
