So last night I Jez overheard one of the girls in work openly discussing being a swinger at the bar with some male colleagues, there were no customers near by , however it turns out she now goes to Chams near us on a regular basis on a Friday. Now normally most people would think they are doing the same as you so wouldn't say anything if they saw you, however I know this young women is quite in discreet so I'm now really concerned about going again in case she is there.Anybody else been in a similar position? . |

if she's not that bothered - she's probably not that bothered about her work either. Either that or a very open woman who can survive any repercussions quite well. She potentially doesn't care about the longevity of her position, so it is up to you if you continue to go there or not, as she will obviously blab about you |

I see why you would be concerned, similar reasons why people don't like posting face pics, play out of area, like holiday meets.
I would imagine people sniggering at work would be the worst possible nightmare and could make colleagues think you were easy, could impact your promotion prospects, could wreck friendships at work and probably drive you to leave your job.
I would struggle to see any positives in your lifestyle being the subject of workplace gossip against your wishes.
I really hope this does not happen. |

Has she mentioned other people's names? Why would she mention yours? Because she is open about her life, it doesn't necessarily mean she will be indiscreet about you |

There is this, did she share details of other people or just her activities? Would be handy if you could find out her profile name and then maybe you could see if she ever mentions in her status when she goes so you know to avoid...but that could be seen as a bit stalkerish! |

I have a friend who is a swinger, some of her work colleagues are aware of her extra curriculur activities & so are most of her friends. She is single and rightly not ashamed of the lifestyle she enjoys. She has mixed with some of mine and my OH's vanilla friends and never once said anything or given the game away, so to speak. I have to say it was a concern of mine when i knew she'd mentioned us to other swinging friends of hers i don't know, however it has never proved an issue.
I think if you have a word with this girl if you see her in the club and stress nicely that your private life is completely private i am sure she will respect your privacy.
