"It can depend on the style as well, if toes are very pointy and very high heel I would suggest two sizes bigger.
If you could try them on in a shop it would be best."
Why wouldn't you order shoes that fit you? |

My thigh high boots are in the right size.
Bigger would be uncomfortable as your feet would move in them, and its hardly like they are the kind where you need to factor in thick hiking socks etc when you wear them... |

Mine are one size larger than normal. I tend to find that boots with very high heels, whether they are ankle boots or thigh boots, need to be one size larger. However, some manufacturers account for that in their sizing so you buy your regular size, and some don't!
It also depends to an extent on the width and the style.
It is better if you can try them on. Otherwise be prepared to return them if they don't fit. |

I buy the same size foot wear be them shoes, boots, sandles etc I don't get why you would order a size or two bigger than you are because they are thigh boots |

I have a pair of Iron Fist thigh boots in my size and can't wear them out of the house because they're like wearing stilts! I also had a pair of £30 thighs from ebay (in my catsuit pic, note USED to have as I wore them so often I killed them) and wore them at every opportunity, also in my size. It's a lottery when it comes to comfort but I wouldn't buy them a size bigger, just send them back if they aren't comfy. |

It's not so much the fact that they are thigh high boots but the styling. Very high heels push your foot forward and if the boot is very pointy it can't hurt. Depending on the style even in men's shoes sometimes I take 8 or 9. With women's shoes the sizing always seems to be smaller, women tend to have narrower feet so if buying women's shoes/boots I tend to mgo for 9 or 10 depending on the style.
As I said if possible try them on to ensure they fit but if you order online you can't try them on. |
