Hi All
firstly, excuse me if I use the wrong terminology, but I need some advice please. FB (having read that damn book) would like to try being tied up, blindfolded, spanked etc. Great, Its not something I've really ever tried, but I'll try anything once (ok, almost anything).
We've had a chat and think that we'd like to find a club where we can very gently test the water. our usual venue is BGHS in brighton, and that's not really suitable. Equally, from what I've read on here, the 'harder' bdsm scene may be too far, too soon, and she certainly wants penetration to be involved, again I get the feeling this isn't the done thing at some fetish clubs. but we do think a club environment would be best, if only because we may get a few ideas from watching others at play.
so, I suppose our wish list is;
a club with a mild bdsm opportunities
within 90 minute drive of Brighton
couples only events (not sure about this, but having explored mmf and mmmf at Bghs, I think we'd prefer couples only at first for this bit). I've had to lay down the law about boundaries to single guys often enough without the added complexities of rope and blindfolds.......
an atmosphere where 'lightweights' would be welcome to participate as much or as little as they/we like, depending on how it goes
I'm sure you've answered this question before somewhere, but I've done a few searches and couldn't really find anything too useful.
so, good people of fab, any advice gratefully received.
oh, nearly forgot, the kicker is we can only do weds or Thursday nights.

most clubs have a section tailor made for what you are looking for , certainly Xtasia would fit the bill on a sat evening , probably not close enough but if you can get away over night the prem inn just down the road is ideal to stay over |

If your preconception of th'harder' dbsm scene is based on these forums you may want to research it a luttle bit more thoroughly. Though that said Fet events are rarely couples only |

VA's does a feta evening with a Mistress running it, have a look at their site. I think it has not long been set up and as it is a swingers club. Nice hotel as well on site. |

For the facilities AbFabs would be good to try, but I think you would only be able to go on a Wednesday and that allows single guys in. I may be wrong, but think that most clubs only do couple only events on a Saturday.

excuse me wanting to double check, but VA = vanilla alternative I assume?
ps , I'd be right up for a feta evening, nice extra virgin oil and a balsamic glaze.......

You could try mailing couples with similar interests and have fun in a private room at a club. That way there's no worry of disrespectful people trying it on. |

RedVelvet@VA I think its called but it is not couples only.
Personally I understand your desire to protect your FB from unwarranted attention especially if your FB is going to be in an even more vulnerable state than normal.
My suggestion would be to play in a locked room, perhaps with windows so you can be watched and then at an appropriate moment open the door and if you think it appropriate invite whoever you want to in to play, closing the door again.

looking like the best option would be to forget the couples only criteria, and go for a club setting with private rooms.
thanks again.
also thanks to the small handful of single guys who pm d me offering to help (and I mean that). all contacts were polite and relevant.
