You're knee deep in competition with other guys...your profile is ok but maybe spend more time on that...someone will read your message ...flick over your profile and maybe just move on ... Don't give up...you face verifications and that will help

I know and feel your struggle. I never know wether to go with polite, dirty or down right erotic.

I always find the forums a good way to break the ice either that or just send a picture of your cock next to sky remote controller - women love that ha

Approach women on here like you would in a pub. Would you go up to someone and say 'fancy a fuck?' Really?? The genuine women on here are not desperate so don't treat them as such. Dirty messages from strangers. No thanks. It's all talk!!

I know this and do consider myself a gentleman, my dear old mother wouldn't be happy if I wasn't. I have never sent a dirty first time message, that and the erotic part was hopeful humour, not always easy to get across when typing

To me, the most appealing first messages contain:

1.face pic (and body shot but not necessary, no cock shots)

2. Polite, curteious and well mannered

3. Comments relating to points on my profile that show it's been read. Helps conversation flow

4. Some info about the sender

5. General interesting conversation comments (eg asking about your day, maybe current status update etc)

6. Showing an obvious interest in getting to know me but not jumping in and mentioning meeting in the first message

A polite message, with a face pic, that shows they've read my profile? Not much to ask is it :p

Don't go for the 'unique witty' messages, they're rarely either x rubbish like 'if you could be any animal/biscuit.... Random crap' they bore me silly. I can't see what's wrong with a simple hi, how are you? Message IF the sender has bothered to read what I'm looking for and if he fits it. Messages starting with 'I looked at your profile...' when they clearly haven't don't get much response from me x

Have to agree here! I get many copy and pasted messages that start 'ive read your profile...' Then upon reading the rest of the message, it's quite clear they haven't :-/

I know that this will be an unpopular opinion but....As a single male, I have spent time genuinely showing interest and asking interesting questions relevant to her profile only to see some of those women either read or delete those messages without so much as a 'Thanks but no thanks'.

So now, though I don't agree with it but I can see why so many guys resort to copy and paste messages.
