Is simple enough...
Make sure you have the right tools..
Take your time and dont rush anything.
Make sure you have some paper handy to use as a template for the entrances.
Remember to leave a ten mil gap around the edge. I always find it looks better if you remove your skirting boards and replace after laying the floor that way the skirting will hide the gap and then you wont need the ugly beading.
Good luck |

Instead of buying the ugly beading just buy quadrant, cut to sizes, gloss then put it around the edge. Blends in to the skirting board better and think it gives a much neater job. |

A little tip....if possible take skirting off first. Board up to half inch from wall (for expansion) then put skirting back on.
It's a piece of piss really. When cutting, remember the joiners rule of thumb....measure twice then cut once! |

Start at the door. Always stagger the joins, leave a 5mm expansion gap all round, and use a decent thickness of underlay (I like the green fobre boards best).. |

Hi I lay flooring . Usually u need to leave a 1.5m gap for every meter of floor laid. Use a 3 mm foam underlay. Run the boards in the direction of the longest wall. Take your time and use the right tools. If it's a small room a fitter should only charge about £150 to fit it for you |

That would be a 1.5mm gap? Otherwise there would be more gap than flooring. |

Simples
Make sure you leave the packs in the room you intend to lay them in for at least 48 hours
Place packs flat in room
gets some sections out when you start and lay them out to give best pattern for minimal cutting when running up to wall
use a foam film underlay .to insulate .
Finally leave a small gap on edge's to allow expansion then tack on a strip to skirting board to cover this |
