"O ur G.T.N.T won't work. The hand courser goes to it we click and nothing.
Any ideas please?

If your using Internet Explorer 8 the Go to newest in thread button doesnt work unless you have Compatibility View on I.E.8 running when your on the forums pages. The easiest way to get to the last post is to push the End Key on your keyboard and then the Home Key to go to the start again. Hope this helps. |

"dump ie8 till they get the bugs out of it its still a beta ver and unstable"
The latest release of IE 8 isnt a Beta version its a full release with the bugs sorted out, the only thing is websites set-up to use older versions of IE dont always work as they should. Use the Compatibility View settings to sort this out until the sites play catch up if there is a real problem with any site not showing/working as it should.
That's a lot easier than trying to revert back to an earlier version of IE.
The Compatibility Button is at the end of the Address Bar and looks like a piece of paper torn in 2. |

Complete dumb question from Mrs Mids coming up - is IE8 the same as Windows 7 I keep stumbling across? |

No Windows 7 is going to be the new operating system to replace Vista, XP, etc to run the whole PC whereas IE8 is the program that runs when you go online and open up webpages |

Or give up entirely on IE, and download Firefox. Far safer program to use on the net, and very few compatability problems with webpages.
