Hi there Forumites.
I just need some reassurances I guess and where better to come.
I've just been freaked out by a message who has now gone 'unlos'
There appeared to be a short exchange of messages but I cant remember his username, he did irritate me but I just ignored his last message, logged on just now to find the message 'you're being played' and 'you cannot reply as unlos'
I have reported it to admin but not sure they can do anything if he's gone.
Has this happened to anyone and should I be worried?
I have a great circle of friends on here so can't imagine it would be anyone on my friends list as I know them all pretty well.
Your thoughts would be appreciated, thank you. |

This weekend has been the worst for messages of abuse. We probably went a year or so without getting any and have had three morons message us rubbish. Has actualy made us think about turning on the filters and going hunting on out terms.
Shame. Don't let it worry you just some saddo thinking he has messed with you. Don't give him the pleasure of any more worrying |

I wouldn't worry about it. I think people say things to make you worry. I had a guy tell me he's going to ruin my life because He knows my family. I'm yet to have any chaos caused. Just a guy with a hurt ego |

"what did he mean, you are being played?
I'd just chalk it up as a weirdo to be honest. Why has it freaked you out so much?"
This is my 3rd single profile as I've been head f**cked by guys in the past, hence I am much more careful. I'm reading these replies and thinking you're all right of course. He's obviously a loser who has nothing better to do. This is why I love the Forums so much. Thank you xx |

And here was me thinking about turning my filters off as I haven't received any new messages today! (joke)
To the OP, just ignore! It's obviously someone just wanting to cause some trouble, nothing to worry about and chin up x |

How strange, just a bitter "can't get a meet type" exacting his own brand of tough justice no doubt, nothing to worry about.
I received a message this morning on a site about fish, that simply read "your shit" So I replied, hello, that's nice, but ai think you'll find it's actually you're, but nice try anyway |

Not sure there's a lot admin can do tbh, just try and forget and move on.
I'm probably a bit to sensitive for my own good and this type of thing freaks me out too.

There are some people who like to try to freak people out on here and do that sort of thing...report if you feel you should [i imagine they can see who has sent messages in admin? never sure about that...]
As you say, if you have good friends they will be exactly that...good friends.
Take care and hope you feel less spooked soon |

I totally get why it freaked you out but it really isn't worth worrying about. We all get the nasty little toys out of the pram missives from time to time and refusing to bite is the only way to deal with them. |

I recently had someone write to the verifications I had at the time on here - they sent a nasty message about me and then appeared on the recipient's message board as 'unlos'. Someone very jealous I guess |

This is my 3rd single profile but one I intend to keep, had it for almost 2 years now. It makes no sense the people want to stir things up from the past like none of it is their fault. I have a feeling I know who was behind this now. |
