I have a couple profile on here that has also been hidden for a long while now. I deleted them from my friends list as ive never met them nor do we message on here , I got a message back saying " i see you have deleted me from your friends list what have I done wrong". So i added them again, last week i deleted them again for the same reason and got a similar message... why do people want to stay on your friends list??why be here if the profile is hidden and there never has been a conversation nevermind a meet! Seems dodgy to me so im not going to re add... thoughts please? |

I deleted two beautifl women this wknd on friends list for weeks but never answered messages thats not friendly is it?! A lot do just look at pics and read your updates! Not worth keeping tbh beautiful or not block list is growing too! |

There is no one on this site that has pictures so amazing I'd keep them on my friends list purely to perv,if they were that amazing id be meeting them  |

They maybe like perving your pictures.
However, no chat = no friend list for me.
If they don't chat other than asking why you have unfriended, unfriend and block if its not meeting your needs, and makes you uncomfortable. |

If you feel the need to reply to them be honest. Tell them a "friends" list is just that. For people you talk to regularly or meet. They are neither of these.
I have a truly amazing best friend on this site. We haven't added each other as friends as we talk/text/see each other nearly everyday. She even features on my status at the mo...as a result of Sat night spent together.
My friends list is exactly that. No point having dead wood in the list. |

Just get rid. You dont need to justify yourself to anyone. If you dont chat why be 'friends' ?
I add to that list so i can meet them. If ive not met nor chatted much i give myself 3 months then if nothing i deliete. If they ask why i tell them. If they go on they simply get ignored x |

You don't need to justify yourself.
I review my friend list every now and then and delete people I don't chat with or people I am not happy that they can see my friends only pics anymore.
It's your profile, do what you are happy with |

I am a little surprised that you re-added them rather than reply to them giving the reasons why you removed them as you have described in your post, OP.
I've had people disappear from my friends list, but not once have I felt the inclination to message them for an explanation.

i did reply and said that i hadnot heard from them.and that they had set their profile to private. They said that they would like to keep on my list for reasons unknown so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Not now though.... |
