I am looking for signs that the guy hasn't just a cock but also a brain.
and some style. I like guys who are respectful and keep a certain level in their profile, as well in what they write as in their pictures.
I also like people who don't take themselves too serious.
a turn off are cock pics as avatar. I actually prefer profiles with no cock pictures at all.

If the username is rude,crude or football related then that puts me off for a start
If there is a whinging status or one that says something along the lines of 'what a good seeing too you got,you know who you are' then thats as far as I go

I look for two things - enough pictures to show me I am physically attracted, and enough text to give me some insight into the personality. If one or other is strong it could make up for a lack in the other part, but with neither it's very rare I bother, people say 'just ask me' but it's too much like hard work.

I look for someone who knows the difference between being on a swinging site and sex site... (I know I may have opened Pandora's box here with isn't the same outcome?)
There's an etiquette involved, and just because people swing doesn't mean they have no standards... So profile wise, a decent human being, confidence, a touch of humour a bit of class.
A decent profile picture (not a willy)
