Hiya all... I've been on here a few months but only had one meet with a sexy lady who has unfortunately nowl left the site. Keep getting looked at, some chat but no one follows-up with a meet. ?. What is wrong with my profile?? I give face pics if requested and I only reply to profiles in line with my wants so is no one really interested in older guys ...... comments/advice please x Tony  |

Nothing wrong with older guys we should know.
However from an older guy I would expect a profile that has capital letters and full stops in the right places.
Also your pics aren't very clear - that coupled with no verifications gives the impression of a fake profile.

Not too old, but your profile is bland. Says nothing at all about what you offer or are looking for.
Your pictures are more coupley than a single fella. And lose the cock shot its not flattering.
Also, major creepy - like dogs and dogging - erm, wtf? Really made me cringe, and I'm hoping its an oversight and not a preference. |

Personally I dislike photos of women on single men's profiles. I don't want to see you in action with another woman it seems slightly disrespectful.

It isn't your age, there are many guys on here in their sixties who are very successful.

You're the age group I prefer but I'd be put off by how your profile text is written. You may think it doesn't matter but I met my partner on here, an unverified male in his 50s. It was his messages that cracked me up and his profile.
He made an effort...oh, and English is his sixth language. |

I'm not sure if it's an age issue, it may well be but you are competing with hundreds of other single men for attention.
Personally I'm not keen on women in single men photos either ~ keep them for friends only not your avatar, I want to see you!
You need to sell yourself to me.....a well written concise profile & a few tasteful photos will go a long way in helping to ensure your profile sticks out amongst all the others.

Your as old as you feel. Some days i feel 20 some days i feel 80 lol but i never let it get me down so chin up and carry on xx i do agree that photos of ladys on profiles of single guys are a waste and do nothing at all to promote you . |

The "I love dogs and dogging", just sounds so wrong put together. To me it comes across that you are into illegal activities.
I don't mind ladies in men's pics, as long as they are not too graphic or bareback pictures.

I removed all references on my profile to my age on advice of a friend. The best way to meet is to attend clubs and actually meet IN PERSON. If you connect socially then that is a good start.
This site has many ladies in the 45 and over age range who are only interested in younger guys, or are economical with the truth. That is life. Accept it and move on. |

You say "I've been on here a few months" but your profile says you joined over a year ago. Maybe try to be consistent. Others have pointed to your artistic ability and I'm not in a position to comment.
If people make contact and then drop out the conversation, maybe it's your general communication that could do with a bit of honing. Try to listen to what they say and how they phrase it - its more difficult than face to face where you can pick up body language. Having said that, they do it to me 'coz I'm too literary when they want to hear good old fashioned smut, lol.
Just enjoy what contact you do get and don't moan about what you don't.

Age is not a major barrier as I'm your age and do fine on the site.
Your photos aren't very clear and your profile text is rather bland and not very engaging.
Make it clear when you message that you have read the profile by specifically mentioning something in it |
