As a young, single guy, and with a decent amount of time spent on these forums, I have to conclude that this is one of the greatest obstacles to getting meets (that and communicating like a neanderthal).
I completely understand the hesitancy of people, especially single women, to let in an unknown person into their home. But being young, and subject to the financial pressures of the modern day, means I just can't host, and probably won't be able to for quite a few years. It's quite depressing, even setting aside meet issues.
Has anyone else felt these sort of blues? When you just feel like you lack independence? |

Yeah, I've been tempted by the club scene, there's quite a few near me. Hotels aren't a great option, being a student I can't pay out much |

Yeah. I was in a room in a shared house for past of last year as a student.
I was unhappy with it so I increased the amount of freelance work I took on and moved into my own flat instead.
