I like having a drink but would never drink before a meet and neither would I expect the person I was meeting to turn up pissed. If we were in a social setting then having a few drinks is fine....but not getting roaring d*unk! |

Alcohol has never played a part in meets apart from the odd glass of wine. However we once met a very nervous couple who drank a bottle of vodka in a couple of hours, suffice to say the evening didn't go anywhere. |

As said above a few drinks is nice while getting to know the other people you are meeting a little better and to ease into the fun. But not too much.
Our first meet as a couple involved us travelling 200+ miles only to arrive to meet 4 people 3 of which had been constantly drinking for about a day and a half and one of them finally being so d*unk she passed out (after roughly pushing herself on me until I physically had to move away from her to get her to stop touching me -Ella-) After this the only other male at the meet passed out and I was left virtually untouched by anyone but Grai (a blessing really as I don't swing for d*unken fumbling). Also the only other sober person (fem) there had gone to bed at about 10pm due to the other fem that wasn't passed out making her feel uncomfortable because she had had fun with Grai before her.
Anyway there is more but I think I should stop before I rant too much. |

Ive no objection to the odd drink, for nerves maybe but ive been to a meet where the couple drank constantly, hard stuff not wine like me, it ended up with the woman constantly in the lounge drinking and smoking, and me almost passed out in the bedroom with the husband as im not used to drinking |

I dont drink at meets because I always want the option to be able to leave and drive home if the need arises. Safety first and all that.
Plus I dont need to have a drink to be sociable, relaxed, or enjoy myself, cos Im a floozy.... |

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |
I'll happily drink socially if
a) I already know whoever I'm drinking with.
b) I don't have to drive.
Even then we're talking 3 drinks maximum...drinking is less fun than sex, so if I'm choosing....!

i have had some meets in the past where one person had been rather d*unk and it kills the night....
also have seen some people d*unk as skunks in clubs.... and that can get really really hairy and dangerous......
when i am in a club I don't drink at all...... |

Personally, I no longer need alcohol to make me relax before or during a meet, and do not mind if the other person has one if it makes him more relaxed.
Too much booze would ruin the meet for me though. |

I think a drink helps to steady the nerves but as the female should deff not get plastered and if someone else turned up pissed then it would b "hit the road Jack...." |

A tipple is fine, more than that is just a put off.
The trouble is dealing with those who go over the top.
We are clear on our profile, nevetheless we did have one experience when they were both out of their heads. I was on my nerves edge, d*unken people can be so volatile. Never again (I hope) xxx |

Happened to me the first time I went to a swinging party, I was sooo nervous I had too many voddies....not good
Now I only drink socially, as I like to keep in control of the situation lol
Lesson learnt |

We tend to get a tad d*unk at clubs, as it's odly the only place I actualy feel relaxed enough to drink, knowing that wiggles isn't likely to get any hastle.
As to how it effects us, meh I never forget what happened and since JD acts like Viagra on me, never had any complaints.
Only tend to have one maybe two drinks on a meet though, or drink . |

We met a single woman who was fine until we went out to a night club.
She then got absolutely legless and turned into Mrs Hyde!
We also met a couple were the guy got so d*unk he became useless and topped it off by collapsing, lol.

i think most people drink to much when they are new, its a very big thing to step into this world for the first time, not knowing what to expect, i remember the first time i went to a club i was so nervous, didnt know what to expect, thought i had to have sex with anyone who touched me, being new i didnt know what i could and couldnt do, i got very d*unk the next day i wondered what all the fuss was about and the next time i went i didnt have any drink at all as i wanted to have fun after i realised i was allowed to say no, now days i do take a few drinks but not enough to get d*unk, but i do like to have a chat and a drink at the bar while im there same as i would in a pub but just as i dont get d*unk in pubs i have no desire to get d*unk in a club either |

Whilst I'm not averse to a beer or a wine on a meet, I'm usually the designated driver, so I don't have the option of getting d*unk.
I have had a 3sum with a couple, she doesn't drink and he brought along cans of beer, got a little past his limit and snored on the sofa!
She was really embarrassed & I found it quite amusing, but I also felt for her. I was however really pleased that she didn't need alcohol to get her "in the mood", she was genuinely into it getting together with me.
Sometimes it is nice to loosen up with a few drinks, but it's nice to be able to go without too! |
