Sorry, this is a rant, but I am cold, horny and been stood up.
Arranged a meet with a verified couple, all good I thought. Was given directions to a safe area to meet, all seems legit at this point.
Detailed description of the lady and what she would be wearing, even got a "just saw you but was passed by work colleagues" message.
Then nothing.
So why oh why oh why did they either:
a. arrange the meet when they had no intention of meeting.
b. if they changed their mind, not have the courtesy to say so.
Yes they saw my face pic before arranging to meet. Had been chatting on and off all day, so everything seemed cool.
I know I should laugh it off, put it down to experience etc, but it has put me off "genuine" and verified couples.

Did you send them any face pics? if so they have no excuse of you were not what they were looking for, we only meet single guys and always get a face pic before arranging a social drink first and we don`t always assume the photo will be a recent one as a few have not been but we have never walked away without at least having a drink with who ever we are meeting . So as awful as it is getting stood up brush yourself down and get back on the bike it`s their loss. |

A verification isn't always enough. A verified profile, but none published, could be they verified themselves through another fake profile.
I always prefer profiles who actually show some verifications....then paper trail through to those profiles and see how genuine they are. It's a belt n braces approach ....but it usually works! It is why I display a large number of my verifications....no chance of being thought of as fake.

Been stood up by a couple myself was odd went from begging for me to come over to me being at the door wondering what had happened. Was a flat so couldn't buzz door as didn't know the number. Lesson learnt |

If it's any consolation Marmite my friend i've been 'stood up' a few times on here! Assuming they thought they wanted to swing but bottled at the last minute. Hence from now on i've had to state that guys must have several veris before i'll meet them. Hopefully that'll put the time-wasters off! Xx |

some right royal idiots about, like the chat and dare not carry on, why we always chat on cam face to face, then just meet half way for a drink. works well most of the time.. but yip we had idiots too |

I'll learn from it. Just that it is so rare for a couple to suggest a meet, I didn't show my usual caution. More fool me.
I have been stood up by couples twice, so perhaps I need to steer clear from now on?
But they are verified genuine, so it doesn't always offer a guarantee. lesson learnt. |

Doesn't matter about what's in their past ?
Personal standards for being here should be the highest ? With people trusting others with their time and safe being ?
No one should ever treat anyone the way they wouldn't want to be tret themselves !
I'm sure there are loads out there who would love to have genuine ppl who they know would be there for them ?

Yes he did, the guy on the phone said 'here's me wife' then a high pitched voice came on saying 'I'm the wife how bigs ya cock, chuck' then on cam the guy was typing one handed and then looked a bit flushed and said 'I'll get me wife' then he heard shouting 'where are you, dear? It's mr Marmite' then she cane in with long blonde hair and sunglasses with a towel round her saying 'ooh! I just was in the shower how bigs ya cock' and then raced off to get her hubby again who rushed in and sat down and flung a towel from him and said 'what about it then, mate? Me and you? This happens way too often to me! I agree about a proper feedback system as the verifications are optional whether you want then showing so you're only going to show good ones! |
