Eh?

Was it on SKY?

I've just farted that didn't merit a forum post!

Elaborate, no specifics though.

Very true, ultimately Admin will decide, but the question that I ponder is this:

What is the difference between asking for someone to pay for a hotel room, bring some booze, pay for a taxi, pay for the other half of the meet to get into a club ... the list goes on.

Personally, and I may be wrong as I have been many times in the past, I can't see what they have done wrong, other that being a tad out of the ordinary for asking what they allegedly did

Suppose it's cheaper than paying £40 to meet them in a swinging club

Be interesting to see what, if anything happens. We got invited to a party once on another site, paid the dosh (it was in a club, so seemed fair enough) party was cancelled, no money refunded despite promises to do so, reported 'em to the Admin on that site and.......nothing happened, not a sausage. As far as we know, they're still on that site, and still scamming people!

Only meeting with someone for sex if they hand over money is prostitution...whatever they say they want the money for, they are still charging.

"What is charging people called?"

Maybe the legal definition of prostitution should be researched before resorting to accusing someone of prostitution, none of us but the OP and the other member concerned know the exact facts about the conversation they had over child care.....it's a knee jerk reaction to start throwing words like prostitute around on here.

Total overkill

ANYONE who asks for money whatever the reason they want it is called charging.

No one knows the exact conversation that went on or even if it is true but maybe you should realise that people are commenting on what they can see.

What they can see is, someone could potentially be asking for money before they will meet for sex.

It doesn't matter what circumstances that is or what they want to spend the money on, it is asking for money before you will meet for sex.

If it turns out to be true then she is charging. Charging for sex is prostitution.

You are allowed your opinion but so are others without you rubbishing them.

Anecdotal evidence is all I see here, I agree that if members openly charge for sex on here then they should be stamped down on and banned, but slamming a member without real evidence is poor.

Have others reported the same couple for prostitution?, does the female concerned have any text on her profile that infers a charge will be made for sex?

Things like this should be investigated and dealt with by Admin alone, it's becoming very popular to broadcast the messages exchanged by members on here lately.....but we only ever see anecdotal evidence in these threads.

The OP was advised to REPORT it on another thread, he has. It will be looked at and decided if there is any evidence and what or if any action is taken. No one is disputing that.

People then decided to post their views on the situation, which they are allowed to.

They are discussing a subject now.

I really don't know why you are getting so het up.

IF IF IF the inferrence was made that monies had to be exchanged before sex could take part, it is most deifinitely prostitution.

doesnt matter how it is dressed up, whether it's called childminding or massage...you know what you are paying for.

my comments are not directly made about this particular situation as i dont know the full story

(someat though when you have to start adding caveats to your comment)

so if someone offered to pay someones child minder, pay for a hotel room, or even cover their travelling costs etc, and they accepted, that would make them prostitutes because regardless of if it was asked or offered, monies are still being paid and sex is on the adgenda.

I think it is more on the lines of " you can have sex if you pay for my ( fill in whatever is approriate ) rather than shall we all share costs to a meet.

i think there's a huge difference between someone saying "no, please, allow me" and someone saying "if you want to meet us, we want some money for xxxxx".

there are joint costs you expect to share, like hotels etc, however, there are costs that are unique to you and you expect to absolve if you want to play and you can't expect others to pay them and i would certainly be suspicious of anyone asking me to handover cash, even in hotels, i pay my share directly to the hotel.

We know what you're saying rugby, but if the money was being used to pay for a child minder, not that we think its right, in fact it's pretty brazen tbh, but paying for a child minder, is exactly that, and will never equate to prostitution, it's only assumed he's paying for sex, and can't even see why prostitution was even mentioned with only one half of a story given.

So if I stood on a street corner and when a man stopped and asked me how much, and I said £100 because I need a new tumble dryer, it means it isn't prostitution because I say what the money is being used for?

Do you know more than we know rugby?

Thats the same as saying, couples on here that expect men to foot the hotel bill are prostitutes, sorry, but it's a hotel they're paying for, not sex, even if they end up with sex.

Think we should leave it at that, because we don't even know the full story.

Just to clarify. I don't do REPORTS and know nothing of what the OP said. I joined in the thread when it got talking about charging.

I have an opinion for me as any normal member and my opinion is, if people ask for money with a promise of sex, then it can only be described as charging.

I know of no one on the site who has asked for it , this is my opinion only.....as a member.

Maybe I need to start typing a disclaimer at the end of my posts to this effect.

You won't hear anything, it tells you that when you report it....and to be honest, you really don't need to keep updating.

The whole point of a report is for you to report it, Admin decide what to do with it and you move on.
