I have a new neighbour who just moved next door. He looks a bit unfriendly shaved head tattoo a bit stocky. So when he came on to me last week it was shocked.
He's been living there about 4 months and we would give each other the nod how you doing mate. I have a boxing bag in my back yard and I'm usually thumping it when I can't get to the gym.
One day when he walked past the hedge he asked how long I'd been boxing he said he had always fancied giving it ago. I've been boxing a while now and I've got all the gear so I said if he wanted we could do a bit of 1-1.
I've been teaching him to box now for about 3 weeks. Last Saturday he said if I weren't busy I should come over for a drink. I popped round and we was just chatting having a few drinks. Then he dropped a bomb that he was gay and he fancied me.
I've never done owt with another bloke before but the next thing I know we where locking lips and up the stairs. I wimped out before owt to serious happened and now I've been avoiding him like the plague. But I can't get it off my mind.
What do you thinks the best thing to do? |

How do you feel about the prospect of a sexual encounter with a guy? Curious now?
Sounds, fr your build up, that you were a little surprised to find that gay or bi guys aren't always camp. Many of us you would never know until we told you.
Perhaps you should talk to him. Explain it's new to you. That it moved too fast. |

Best thing to do is talk to him . Explain that you've never been with another man. If your interested maybe tell him you are but take it at your pace. If your not just tell him out straight (no pun intended) . |

I have to say initially I thought this belonged in the stories and fantasy section/ or the dear dreary column in the newspaper.
Part of me wants to take the role of agony aunt and say bla bla bla contact gay switchboard/don't shit on yr own doorstep etc but the 'swinger' in me is once again shocked that people join an adult site with what sounds like inexperience/naivety of what is surely a basic adolescent experience.

But back to the original question; you state that you can't get it out of your mind. If that's associated with a sexual response then you might want to invite yourself over for a few more drinks, reduce your remaining inhibition and go for it. Safe sex only, obviously.
If thinking about it is not associated with getting turned on then you're running a guilt trip and need to put events down to being slightly intoxicated and log it as an experience.
Either way, I would trot round with a bottle of wine, or a few beers, and explain the direction that you are taking.
Neighbours can be useful people, in many ways, and what happened and what happens next shouldn't be the end of being good neighbours. |
