But here goes,

In a d/s situation in my mind it's a couple, boyfriend girlfriend relationship in which both enjoy the Same or similar kink(s)

For it too work properly.

My question is can a dom guy outside of your current relationship be your master?

Please excuse my ignorance as I'm not completely aware or very knowledgable about this topic. I'm just very curious

Yeah you can have dom/sub relationships outside of your own 'proper' relationship.

It would still have to be a relationship of sorts though, like a sexy friendship. Or i suppose you could have it similar to a boss/employee type relationship as well.

Depends how sub you are willing to go really. And it is the sub who decides what happens in these types of relationships, rather than the dom.

yes.

If one in the relationship is not dominant but understands that the other needs this type of sex, a dom guy outside of that relationship will obviously be looked for to entertain what is necessary.

I have met a good few couples where the guy isn't dominant and I have met the woman in this way.

I think it could, BUT what if the outside master denies you pleasure with your partner, would it cause problems?
