Hi guys after a bit of advise we thinking of having our first meet should we go to a club or meet a couple and are clubs ok with couples who mite just look and take it all in the first time cos we are very shy when we sobar thanks |

Clubf your local club is really friendly just pop along and take things as they come. Have a chat and see how things go. You could also try the club in Sunderland. I've a friend who would be perfect for you husband she's in her mid fifties lol. Take care |

Do both. Find a couple on here you get along with and may want to play with also.
Organise a social meet at a club and if it moves on then you are in the perfect place 
If you dont feel a spark then there are lots of others to socialise with and maybe play.
Either way you have another couple to go to the club with which may settle your nerves.

Try a club or social. Take in the atmosphere and just watch. Better going home having had a good night and wanting more than regretting what you did. Have fun. |

I wouldn't advertise as my first meet in the meeting section of this site x
I'd attend my local club
Then you will find your feet and get your bearings
It may be that on that first club you do play x so you may get verified x
Then I would consider posting a meet so you can be a bit more selective x |
