Hello everyone just looking for a little bit of advice. Before I had my son (he's 8) I never had any bleeding after sex, after the 1st year it would occasionally happen, visited drs had loads of tests couldn't find anything wrong. Then it stopped as quick as it started. Now its started again it happen 2 weeks ago it was quiet alot but stopped after an hour or so. So I didn't have sex for another 5 days incase I'd caught something. It has since happened again and now all I am getting is a litfht discharge and the feeling I need to pee all the time. I have book an appointment wiyh the drs again I have in October had all my tests done which came back negative.
Any advice would be really helpful x |

In my opinion the only useful advice is see your gp. You could have a simple infection but honestly nobody on an internet forum for swingers can help beyond that.
I hope its easily and quickly sorted out. |

yes but I am a lot older than you and it was down to my coil one time and my reproductive organs having one last party another.
So it isn't always a sinister reason especially at your age but should never be ignored |

The only sensible advice would be to get yourself to the GP could be something simple like a urine infection or thrush. I also had discharge and had thrush with no symptoms and cervical erosion but rather then leavin defo get checked hun |

To be brutally honest, you would be much better speaking to your gp, while this is a forum full of likeminded people it is very hard to offer medical advice to a stranger, op your statuses are regularly about your ill health and you clearly have a few underlying health issues that could really do with a bit of time on nhs direct sooner than a swinging site |

I do have experience of this and I would advise you go to your sexual health clinic : they will do a full screening but also be able to smear as well to check your cervix .
This is what I had to to and my news was not great
Would of been worse if I hadn't gone .
Could be cervical erosion for example which is normal and fine
So go get checked out and put your mind at rest |

OP a member of my family have had similar, her GP ran lots of tests that all came back negative, still it carried on so she went back to her gp who refered her to a consultant at the hospital who had a look and discovered slight cervical erosion so she had some laser treatment and it seems to have cured it.
Maybe go back to your GP and asked to be refered to the hospital.
Good luck |

It could be something simple like cervical erosion but bleeding after sex can also be a symptom of cervical cancer. Get yourself to your doctor and get a full check up and a smear test while you're there |

I had this a few years ago and it was cervical erosion, had it laser treatment and been fine ever since, but that was me. As others have said you should get it properly checked out.

When you see the doc ask about a different type of pill (if you're on it). Hormones can be a factor from the pill, but they don't always consider trying a different type. |

It happened to me and they found a polyp on my cervix which was causing the bleed. Get them to check again . What I had wasn't dangerous, just annoying. |

It sounds like an ectropian hunni....the cells on the inside of your cervix are growing on the outside, when having sex,it causes a light bleed...I've had the same after my 1st pregnancy....treatment is very simple...under general anaesthetic a surgeon will burn the cells of by diathermy....it's a little incomfortable afterwards, but by no means painful...I'd ask your GP for a gynae referral!! Good luck!! |

I'd say the same. I found I had a streptococcal infection affecting my ectropion for which I was prescribed antibiotic cream. Once I'd used that for a week I've had no post coital bleeding at all. I still want it treated though.
What was the diathermy like then? |

As it done under GA,it's fine, afterwards it was a little stingy when I went for a pee,but I had more problems with the GA than the actual procedure!! I would recommend it to anybody who suffers with it,if only to just put your mind at rest!! Good luck!! |
