Some nasty people on here that seem to get off on giving people the run around. I always meet socially first because as a woman, going to a private address of a stranger I've never met would be a big no no. |

You are not a fool. Sadly it sounds that you have been at the mercy of some idiots giving you the run around. Please report them. And never give up. Lots of nice genuine people here. X |

Had that happen to me a few years ago when I was still new to the scene. After exchanging lots of messages with a woman for a meet I arrived as instructed to find an empty flat... no calls to the number were answered. I saw a Postie and checked it was the right address and he said, 'that's funny, you're the third bloke to ask me that today' ... 
If you're sure it was not a mistake then report as others have said. |

Anyone can be fooled by someone taking advantage of their trust. Chalk it up to experience and don't let it put you off. |

Been given the run around before, but you do develop a 6th sense sometimes. Nothing tangible but something gives you a red flag.
I was on another site and was meeting not a million miles from where the OP is - in fact will send a PM sounds familiar
They (he) kept promising to meet but never did so anytime he was in chat I kept outing him as a timewaster didthe trick. |

I once arranged a meet with a women and turned up at the address and knocked on the door but no one answered. I was knocking a few times for a couple of minutes and thought I'd been led on so went back to my car.
I thought I'd check the message one more time and relised I was knocking on the wrong door number 
Luckily nobody answered that door or I would have been really shocked and embarassed lol. |

I once had a meet they showed up i paid 90 quid for hotel gave them 25 quid for there petrol and women said get me vodka got it we was chatting fine then when it came to play she banged her head and said had to go they was just skint on a Saturday took piss just like they have with you so u not on your own mate not everyone like that |

didn't think at time they was only 30 miles down road just got had off skanks but had 2 great meets since just one bad experience |

also people enjoy harassing others by sending takeaways, taxis etc. to their door its not beyond the realms of possibility that this is what sometimes happens with these incorrect address situations.
Always meet in a neutral location first, even if you intend to go straight back to their house would be my advice. |

why the need to use a password at the door unless you were meeting them blind- surely you all would know what you look like and were expected - that aside definately report - we had a girl once give us a fake postcode - when we looked it up on route planner it didnt exist - when we asked if she typed it correctly she went off site - ah well |
