We will be over in Hull on Saturday 13th September for a meet with a nice young local man, stopping in rented accommodation, just wondered if anyone could recommend somewhere nice for me and the wife to go for a meal beforehand?

Titz Towers, North Notts

I had a pretty tolerable meal in Frankie and Bennys there.

If you like chinese, Mr Chu China Palace just outside Hull is lovely.

It's at St Andrew Quay.

Loads of places depending on what you like, if you fancy a variety try wings continental , it's really easy to find (opposite the stati) and is an all you can eat serving Chinese, Indian, Italian, Spanish, Japanese and loads more and has chefs preparing stuff fresh to order too such as crepes and sushi

In that case go to princes avenue - big selection of cafes serving all sorts of stuff, you'll definitely find something you like and it's great for a night out too x

Thanks that sounds interesting, like Italian and Spanish and wouldn't mind trying a bit more sushi, forgive me but whats "the stati"?

I had an inkling it might be but just had to clarify in case I made a twat of myself while I was over there (didn't want want to be asking someone where the "stati" was and I,d be stood next to it!) but thanks, beautiful profile by the way!

The cooks endeavour was always decent food. Or for something different try hancocks, it's a vegetarian restaurant where the cuisine type varies - sometimes Italian, french, Spanish etc.

Other than that, I dunno!

Hull

If u google newland avenue and princes avenue restaurants got some lovely Italians or tapas. Lucca is nice but may have to book. Failing that u have ask or pizza express in town. Enjoy ur weekend x

Of course not, you can go to India or China for that shit

Ma mam's side of the family are from Hull and a good Fish'n'Chip restaurant should not be too hard to find
