With one meet in over a year then I suggest the OP is either very good at sticking to his guns or he should maybe travel further to get more?
Personally I tend to stick yo an hours travel but for people I know I have gone further. Weston (never again....too far) and Derby for a party.
People have travelled to me from Blackpool, Derby (for party) and from Lincoln. Met a couple from Essex...but they were in my area.

We cant travel for meets but have had lots of people in a 50 mile radius come to us and a few a lot further asking. We tend to avoid single guys more than 30 miles away as they tend to no show. |

But I need to be staying over then.
Got some time off soon and quite fancy a road trip. The Scots and Welsh ladies on here seem to be of a very high quality  |

30 miles is no distance at all, we will travel up to 50 but consider that close. |

Probably the furthest that I want to drive for a man is 50 miles or so - maybe a little more if he really impresses me and pays for the petrol!

I would travel to a club and possibly meet there, I wouldn't travel past 10 miles for a new meet and wouldn't want anyone to travel for me. My first meet is always a social so it's too far for a beer!
I like regular too so long distance just isn't my thing.
Different things work for us all. |

I like to stay local if I can. Derby/stoke on trent. But recently I've been chatting to a couple of women who live 2 hrs drive away. Would like to meet them and they want meet me but it's a long way to go. Desicions Desicions!!! |

It's not always so much the distance as the time it takes to get there.
We would rather drive to Brighton for example than drive to the other side of London.
An hour max of travelling is usually our cut off. |

I travel a lot anyway and have met people in the course of going to places for reasons other than just playing.
But have also had some log distance meets....Torquay was probably the extreme - but well worth it. I knew a couple I saw regularly in Corby and once went to Leeds - but once we met we didn't get out of bed for the rest of the weekend! |

I'm only willing to travel about 10 miles, which in the city can be 30mins to an hour drive depending on traffic and as I only ever have about 4hours spare its out of necessity not choice, I don't want to be spending more time traveling there than actually enjoying the meet. |

Enjoy regular-ish fun with some people who are exactly 37.6 miles from me (just checked). That's about as far as I go. They are certainly worth it.
Have met people further away but usually as a result of me being in their town for a meeting/event. |

80 to 100 miles is fine, but depends on lifestyle, we both travel long distances regularly so don't think much of it, other people would say leaving their home town was too far. |

I did a 2 hour drive (4 hour round trip). The distance wasn't huge but there were no Mways. In that particular case she was very worth it. But that was a school night.
If I was travelling from home Personally 90mins tops unless we'd meet before or something. |

I think I have been very lucky I have had some guys and cpls come 100s of miles on guy I see flys down from Scotland every month to see me . Mind you I will not meet for less then a few hrs and I don't just meet for the quickie so it is worth while x |

time is often an issue for us so closer the better most of the time - some people we would travel far for especially those we have met and are friends now - we have plans with some that involve travelling a bit further than normal but thats all a bit special |

We'll travel as far as Tease, Eureaka's or London for people we've not met before but further for people we know. There are a few people on our radar way further than that but we'd probably only meet them if we were in their area for something else anyway |

I drove 79miles other evening and got home 5am.i dont mind as known bloke a year from partys and private. I will only do it for people ive met before. Often travel 60miles to partys or clubs.
furthest was 300miles to chams mite do again next year |

We are fairly happy to travel 100+ miles even for a social meet. However it depends what the fuel fund contains. Waiting to meet a couple 70+ miles at no just waiting for all our schedules and cash for fuel to sync. |

I've had guys travel to Larne from Sligo, Dublin, Dungannon, Bangor, Maghera, Leitrim, Enniskillen, Lurgan, one due from Dumfries soon . Belfast isn't too far though for a one off meet but some find it is too far for something regular . |
