"Can i just ask, why would someone want to hide their friends list please?"
1. I don't like to brag. 
2. It slows down people who are scrolling down to my action pics. 
3. Because they can. 
4. I've known of people go through somebody's list saying "hi, we have a mutual friend..." and piggybacking their list.
