I don't see how a gang bang would be degrading with multiple guys vying for a single girls attention (a bit like on here really), I very much doubt a reverse gang bang featuring multiple girls and one guy would be seen as degrading - quite the opposite in fact. |

I think each person has there own level of when something becomes degrading. It depends if you are asking on what a person finds degrading to themselves or others?
To me it's when someone is objectivified purely on looks, for example I feel page three is somewhat degrading to women. However I accept that the women participating do so happily & earn a lot of money from it, so they wouldn't think it degrading.
I know some people get off on humiliation & degrading acts, it's not my cup if tea but if others enjoy it fair play to them.

Degrading is sometimes used in a derogatory way by people who wouldn't do something someone else may enjoy because it makes them feel superior to make assumptions about how it makes you feel
If you enjoy something and find it pleasureable then its not degrading,despite how it may look to outsiders

Totally agree, but it still has to feel like the degradation is real.
Any time you get to play a role and experience in safety, then go back to reality is good for your spirit.

Degrading is what makes you feel degraded. It's a personal thing.

If you find something that you are subject to degrading then it is degrading for you, if you consider something that someone else is doing voluntarily would be degrading if you were in their position then it is none of your business. |

Mrs and I have been in exactly the same position as you as we'd only ever been with each other and then the swinging conversation came up. It's not that we needed spicing up our bedroom antics, just that we'd mellowed enough in our relationship to seriously consider it without the jealousy that would come from a newer relationship.
