and an incorrect statement too. Huge amount of single guys who mail us have it on their profile.
And they leave it on after we tell them its useless and meaningless but they must feel it saves them....poor misguided fools lol |

I didn't even know where the FAQ was, found it now.
you're right, it was a bit of a sweeping generalisation.
from my views, it seemed fem-led profiles had it more than male ones but i have to admit my experience is skewed sightly- I don't look at that many profiles of single men.
so they've been using pics for 'professional' use without permission... naughty buggers- they could have paid, my photoshoot rates are reasonable enough (who'd pay for this? Lol) |

Understandably people are concerned about their privacy, they see this warning on profiles see that it suggests they use it too and do, hoping that it will stop anyone using their pictures or text. We had it on our profile briefly. |

Maybe the OP is only looking at women and couples though so can only comment on them. |

It is total bollocks.....
Anyone who thinks that a University (young fit students mostly) would be interested in badly taken pics of middle added couples must be extremely up their own arses!
I tend to use it as one of my filtering tools....anyone who has a warning bigger than their profile is probably best avoided!
And it wastes server space. |

All it does is tell you who is easily lead but bullshit and mumbo jumbo. |

Just like any legal warning, have you the financial resources ( say 15-20k) to launch an action against them. Highly unlikely...further proof that disclaimer on your profile is a complete waste of time.. |
