"Do what you like, do fat women slim down for meets?!"
Not quite the same. But I'm sure one or two trim. Pluck. Put on make up and perfume. Get dressed up.
All to make themselves have a better appeal.
So men shaving is not that big an inconvenience. Unless they have a mighty impressive one. (beard).

"If you don't like beards ok,that your choice, but don't to keep going on about them.An yes I have something to hide under mine."
No one is 'going on about them' the OP asked a question and people are answering.
If you dont like people saying they dont like beards, dont read a thread asking the question! |

Like anything they suit some guys and not others. I understand some ladies objections if it causes rashes but other than that can't see a problem if they are well groomed. |

Hubby started growing a beard recently, at first I wasn't sure but he really did suit it, it's very sexy if it's well trimmed with a well maintained haircut to match |

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |
Nice to see a bit of appreciation for face fuzz - I was always aware that mine might be slightly reducing my opportunities, although it was never a major problem.
Will keep an eye out for you lot next time hayseed dixie are over here |

My ex missus was a Greek - facial hair was an ongoing problem to the point of embarrassment and my dad always said never trust a bloke with a beard - they're hiding behind it |

I think, like anything , beards suit some guys & not others. I really like a well groomed beard on certain guys & it wouldn't put me off meeting them. Variety is the spice of life. |

yes to a well groomed beard (my partner has one) but not overly fond of wild and wooly ones. Not a fan of designer stubble...it can sometimes look very sexy but plays havoc with delicate facial skin

It's become very unfashionable, but I'm a child of the sixties when beards were cool and bra less women in long skirts or minis stirred our snake.
I still like a woman with a lush neatly trimmed beard. Very continental Mmmmmmmm xx Jim |

No where did it in the opening title did it say do you like or not likes beards, the first time it asked that, was when the OP asked was in the forum. |

"There is a guy on here we would like to meet. Only the beard stops us asking. "
For the right people I would shave if asked for a meet. Why not ask the guy, it only takes a few days to grow back.
Good luck.

Be yourself - if that is a beard have a beard
I have had a short one for a long time and wouldn't change as I would feel odd without it.
It helps hide the rest of my face |

Err yeah thats what i said, the OP asked the question 'no go or hell yes?' so that is the TOPIC of this thread. Nobody is going on about it, just giving their opinion. |

Would you really shave your beard off just for a meet?
I know it costs me a lot of meet. But, i'm looking to meet people who want to meet me for being me. I wouldn't change my appearance just for someone to say 'yes' to me. I've had people message me saying 'get rid of the beard and you can fuck me'.
....erm. No thanks love.
Then again. That's just my opinion and the kind of person i am.
