They can probably check the IP address of the device the profile was created on. If there have been numerous profiles created there previously or male profiles it could indicate it's a fake. |

Whilst I understand what you are saying (and I do assume all meets have participated in some kind of risky activities) it's all about calculated risk. If it's made glaringly obvious to me that someone is taking part in bareback gangbangs every weekend then I would avoid them as I would see the risks as much higher than someone who might have had the odd split condom...just as I would prefer to cross a busy road where I could see both ways rather than on a corner where I can only see one way until I'm in the middle of the road. A busy road is still dangerous, but I can reduce the risk I take in crossing it |

Not sure that's the most positive name to call someone, but if you're looking at people being a bit naive with STI's you'll probably find most who do take part in a lot of bareback sex know the risks involved and get regularly tested...the ones that worry me more are the ones that think a condom makes them invincible and so long as they cover up every time they never need visit the clinic unless they have symptoms.
End of the day you have to look after your sexual health in the way that suits you best. We might not agree with how some people choose to play, but so long as it's legal, we have to accept it and look after ourselves. |

How can you assume that the vast majority of people who bareback get test regularly, it's just a fact less statement based on assumption and what you belive. I belive in statics and facts. The fact you're a lot less likely to catch an STI from using a condom is a truthful fact. I'll stick with condoms thanks. |

I don't think anyone has said that you shouldn't use condoms and you are right there is no statistical evidence that people who bareback get tested more regularly. However lots of people have unprotected sex and won't tell you, lots of people don't realise that stis even syphilis can be passed on by oral sex and very few people use condoms or dental dams for that and lots of people will happily use fingers, tongues etc on a woman and move on to another woman without a second thought. No such thing as safe sex, only safer sex. |

I'm not assuming anything and never claimed anything as fact (hence the word probably, and maybe I should have said many rather than most), but from the many, many, many bareback threads I have seen on here I have found myself more worried by those who seem to have limited knowledge of STI's and the fact that many have no symptoms in the early stages than I have been by those that admit to playing bare. I'm also more worried by the ones who seem to think that if someone states 'Safe Sex' as a preference on here then that means they cover up on every occasion with every partner. I've never at any point said anything bad about condoms, other than the fact that they do not make a person invincible Wearing a condom does not make anyone safe, just safer. A condom alone is no good without regular testing too...prevention is better than cure, but no one is 100% safe if they are having sex. And for the record I do use condoms, and prefer to meet those that do too, but t would be foolish of me to assume everyone I meet uses them all the time just because they say they do. |

There have been so many posts about this subject & my belief is that there is absolutely no point in trying to discuss it sensibly.
Those people who thoroughly disapprove of bareback will continue to disapprove and will continue to believe, in the absence of any scientific proof, that a condom will render them 100% flame proof. It wont.
On the other had the rest of the population will continue to use or not use condoms in a random way regardless of the risks.
I do think however people are fooling themselves if they think they can get involved in swinging without assuming extra risk. |

I've not read all the replies, but some of them.
My take is, she is an adult and anyone sleeping with her are adults. If she and her partners choose to have BB sex, that up to them.
