I was wondering if you lovely people would mind passing some on how my profile is viewed from outside eyes.

Thanks

The Town by The Cross

Lose the first two paragraphs or replace them with something appealing.

The rest is fine.

Photos from 2009

Have you any older ones? Perhaps university photos?

Trust your instincts fella and stick with what reflects you. You don't want something too generic.

I suppose they are quite dated although...tbh I haven't really changed and I haven't taken time to pose for pictures lately

Brighton - even Hove!

I'd put in about what I could offer, like what's your usp? Personally, I don't find the term 'scrum' very appealing.

That's the thing, I'm not a "I'm in your area" kind of guy and I try to be as polite as possible in messages

Not at all!

Sorry

I read a little bluntly

I just meant 5 years is a long time ago for a photo - you could look totally different that's all

It looks like your profile is getting neglected if it doesn't keep up with real time

That's my opinion

Cars can look a little tacky too x

There's nothing wrong with it, and it is a nice pic , but some might think you were saying look at my lovely car.

It is a good profile. Profiles are always difficult to get right. Ours is not superb. If you are looking for advice, I would agree that the car picture is a bit, "Oh, look at my car," but that is a minor point.

okay...mr blunt in the house!!!

your profile is generic... sorry.. its bland, its doesn't say anything about you, it doesn't say anything about the people you want to meet....

it just doesn't say anything... it just feels like an afterthought... like "well this sounds good" but in effect it says nothing....

two different ways to approach this...

1) if you think you have done your best to make yourself stand out, in the best way you can.... don't change a single thing!!!!!

2) if not... sit down and have a think, and change it!!!

okay.... look at your profile.... then have a look at a lot of the guys who have taken their time to reply in this thread....

then ask yourself one question... "hand on heart would you reply to your own profile?"

It's fine, it's the kind of pic men take haha. If they're a bit old add a couple of up to date selfies showing a nice torso, and a more recent veri, and you're away. I would leave any idiosyncrasies in the text too - they show who someone is, their sense of humour etc IMO.

How about something like this to replace the first 2 paragraphs ?

I'm Max,I'm 39 years and keep myself in shape. However I was made in 1974 when real manly men were built not the later version were a lot of corners and 90% angles were taken out and redefined to give a sleaker look....omg this is starting to sound like a car advert but as we're on the subject of cars I'm more of a mustang than a Ferrari.

I look more like Bruce Willis than Bruce Almighty so that might give you an idea of my build.

I'm looking for relaxed unjudged fun for all envolved and hope you might like what you see and read.
