Anyone know of any suitable hotels in or around north Yorkshire.. That wouldn't have an issue checking out a few hours after you have checked in.
Very embarrassing at travelodge on A64.. Guy obviously knew what i had been upto |

If you pay when you check in it's not a problem. Just leave the keys on the desk on the way out or in the room. Or take a case with you and say there's an emergency at home and you have to leave. |

"There shud b hotels you book by the hour "
As an ex hotel owner the cost of cleaning the room means it's too expensive. We did sometimes have coach drivers stay who only used the room to have a sleep in the day while they waited for there passengers to attend a conference and cover there tacho needs |

A lot of airport hotels offer rooms for a few hours, for people on transfers etc. I know Hilton used to offer "day rooms" at their airport hotels, probably still do? |

It sounds like the hotel suspected this was a for pay meet.
Any business can refuse your custom, especially if they think you are using their premises for something illegal or likely to bring them into disrepute.
Having a parade of playmates through the door or having large numbers in the room at one time or being rowdy and causing a disturbance could be a problem - obviously!
Put thought into what you wear (dress nicely, keep anything saucy under wraps, a big coat is a useful thing) dress to match the hotel - don't dress down for a swish place. Business type dress is what you will see many wearing in chain hotels. Take an overnight bag, even if it's just your gym bag. You might not want to stay the night but having shower gel etc can be handy.
I know of married couples who used to book a hotel and use it for a couple of hours cos they wanted time alone.
Remember that you are paying even if you just use it for ten minutes - though try to avoid just using it for an hour as that is the time most escorts will sell to their clients!
And don't feel obliged to check out. It's acceptable to leave the keycard in the room. They even factor in a loss of keycards from people who forget to leave them. |

I often stay away with work, and use Apartment Hotels!
Tend not to have a re eption, meet you on arrival and give you keys, you then just post through your apartment door when you leave.
