So I changed my profile text about a month ago after a straw poll in the forums. Wondering if I should carry on as I am or revert to a more standardised approach. My thoughts are that people may not think I'm taking FAB seriously. I know the dynamics of FAB and the peaks and flows regarding attention etc. |

I havn't read it but if you're having fun and it shows your personality as having a sense of humour then leave it as it is
Too many bland boring generic profiles out there |

it is as simple as this
if you think your profile reflects the best in you.... keep it!
if it doesn't..... change it!
you listen to everyone about specifics and tinker it then in effect isn't you!! its the generic pish telling people what you think they want to hear!

I'm a returning fabber. The majority of the veris are from my previous profile. That's where I'm having my internal conflict. My last profile was albeit a little standard, what I want. What I like but most important what I had to offer it seemed to get a little more attention. |

I like your profile, (and not just the pics)
Its different, shows personality and humour and someone who doesn't take themselves too serious, which in my option is an attractive trait. Obviously not everyone will have the same opinions but surely its better to have a profile that shows who your are rather than a standard, generic one?

Just read it and giggled all the way through...so that can't be a bad thing! I like it, and can't see it hindering you in any way at all, especially with the pics you have too...however if you feel it isn't working for you then change it...or add a non-pirate speak bit at the end maybe for those who want something more 'normal' |

Totally depends on how successful it was / is ... And what you want from fab .
If you want the forum regulars to put you on a pedestal leave it as it is .
If you want meets and fun outside the forums , gear it toward continuing your success in the past .
