Agreed, I can understand no naming and shaming, but don't see much of a problem with naming someone to praise them. |

Do we have to have this thread? It's a journey for all transgender people that are transitioning. Whether or not they are convincing is nothing to do with it as well as it's all to do with them and their happiness not just with how good they look.  |

Actually I don't particularly like any of these type threads, for any gender. But please try and remember that with TS folk it is to many a sensitive subject as gender dysphoria often comes packed with body dysphoria and both generally lead to depression and other mental illnesses to boot.
See the other thing is we are women (or men) we just happen to have been born in bodies opposite to our perceived sex. So I'm not entirely sure how we are meant not to be convincing if we are women or men anyway? You might as well just have a thread saying who us the prettiest woman or man on fab. And yes I dislike those immensely.

"Convincing" is never a word I particularly like I think convincing is more something that should be associated with TVs not ts especially when it's just about looks. I've met with TV's who are perfectly happy as men and dressing is just role play/a sexual fetish who you'd see in a picture and have no doubt they're a woman but would know in a second in real life and know (not through fab) some TS who unfortunately would not be classed as pretty but within 5 seconds of meeting them you'd be of no doubt t they are a woman even if they turned up sporting a handlebar moustache.
It's much more in the demeanor and personality that you can tell if they're a man or a woman inside, you can't really get it from pictures but you often can tell from their profile text |

I think that maybe some of the problems that occur in these sort of threads are down to people's lack of understanding than purely trying to cause offence. And fab do nothing to help by bundling tv and ts under the same heading therefore giving some the impression that they are the same surely there should be two options. |
