Really? Because I thought that if you work for DVLA it is a hanging offence to trace a number and of course the police have audit trails to prevent just such a thing |

Fill in a form, pay the fee to DVLA and they will send you owner details.
Yep its that easy ! |

Our neighbour's car's reg starts off BJ08, they had a bbq last year and shar asked her if she liked giving b jobs, still don't think she got the joke to this day |

The company I used to work for, sponsored him and the reg was so fitting for him. He has probably got a newer car now with BE 11 END on it |

There are numerous phone apps that will tell you all about the car it is registered to. The op reg is on a vw golf
Fill in a form, pay the fee to DVLA and they will send you owner

Anyone been keeping an eye on the EU? They are drafting regulations to harmonise registration plates, each member country would be responsible for the issue of a personal and unique number plate to each of their citizens.
The plate would be theirs for all of their driving career and moved from car to car as they change vehicles, anyone who has more than one vehicle would get individual plates for each, but, every plate would be traceable back to the registered owner of the vehicle.
UK Govt is crapping themselves as personal number plates net the treasury millions every year. |

Within the data protection act comes the information of freedom act allows you to get all information at a price
Deffo sucks, it that bad you can even pick a name out the court list an call the court to find out the result. |

Sure they will recover some of it by charging an admin fee to transfer your plate each time you replace your car. Can't see the logic behind this though.
