First club?

After months of talking about it and finally growing the balls to jump in, we need to know the best club for our first time? We're not planning on swinging with any couples but would love to make new friends with the same interests. Any recommendations? Very nervous buy also VERY excited! Planning on doing this on Sat 5th April.

All advice welcome!

Needs to be in the South East area

Best to look in club section on this site for clubs near you, read the customer reviews, check out the club websites that kind of thing

I've had a read of all South East clubs and they all have a mix of good and bad reviews. I am swaying toward AbFabs but the initial price isppretty much for a first time but I suppose you get what you pay for.

I certainly don't want to go on a night when single men are allowed, no offence to them at all, just preference for a first night.

We agree with Abfabs (it's the one we go to and we're on the South Coast)but for a first time you may want to consider going during the day when it's Kestrels - a naturist spa. It's a little more chilled out and you can go with a view to relaxing, swimming naked in the pool, bubbling in the jacuzzis etc but there is also the opportunity to play if you want to.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions

I'm guessing but from where you're from its either Abfabs or Eureka , not sure Eureka does a couples only night but Abfabs facilities are better.

Just for the record; single guys are generally well behaved and you could always use a private room if you don't want to let anybody watch you play. But bottom line is if you say no, it means no! Of course if your only going to watch on a first trip then it won't come up as a problem.

Have fun!!

Thank you guys.

I have absolutely nothing against single guys at all.....good on you is all I can say. It's just as it's our first time out I didn't want to have the added concern that there may be the odd one that ruins it for everyone else.

I should just deal with it and go anyway, we'd be less restricted to where and when we went.

I think we're definitely swaying towards AbFabs.....we'll see

You should follow your instinct but personally there were a few threads on here last year that for us made abfabs go from a must do club to not a chance. And the cost of a first visit put us off to a degree, it is a large membership fee for somewhere you might not visit frequently.

VA always gets good reviews and is good for first timers as the play area is totally seperate to the play areas. And the play areas lend themselves well to voyeurism/exhibitionism if you don't intend to play with others as they are open plan.

Nothing wrong with Abfabs in our view. Always busy on the couples nights and has good facilities. Venue can be a bit too big sometimes, but its loads of fun with the pool etc.

VA is good too and has the benefit of rooms you can stay over in, so the overall cost might be a bit less, it depends if your going home the same night of course. There are some private parties in and around the South London area, but most of these are fairly unimaginative house parties rather than fixed venues.

Ourplace4fun is highly recommended too, an extremely small but extremely friendly and well run club by very good hosts, no problem talking with people there. Couples nights are the first Thursday of the month, Saturdays has a few limited single men in but because the rules at that club are so strict and its so well run, we never found it a problem at all and we also prefer couples only nights.

So there's three good options for you.

Being small op4f is a perfect first time club as it is less intimidating. Kestrel/abfabs is large so even when busy it looks empty when people are locked away in rooms. Shear size can be daunting at first. I have only been during the day in the hotter weather.

Just shows how different people feel differently about things... I'd find a small club intimidating because everyone is in closer proximity. I like a larger club because I prefer to be able to choose what distance to observe things from and find a space if I need one. Saying that, I've never been to OP4F so I don't know how small 'small' is.

Ultimately it's horses for courses and all that...

Whichever one you choose OP, go at your own pace, don't feel pressurised into doing anything you're not ready for and most of all, have fun

the 1 thing we found very annoying about clubs(well, xtasias as thats the only one we have been to) is that, you start chatting to someone, then the bleedin dj turns the music up and you can talk no longer, unless your yelling down each others ears, unless that is done to force you to go to the play area.

just ruins the flow that you get going.

hope you enjoy your evening wherever you choose

I took the leap last night and went to the no3 club in chorley for my first time, it was great the people were really friendly and made first time a night to remember. I would defiantly recommend the no3 club on a Thursday night as it's a social night till 10pm.

The OP is in West Sussex though - clubs are a bit thin on the ground down in these 'ere parts
