We have some friends on here that we met through swinging and love their photography. They do it part time and are even doing our wedding!

Now we have been on these forums quite a bit and have on occasion seen single men offering their 'expert' shots often with the hope of joining in. We have also seen the response to these obvious attempts to get a meet.

Now these friends of ours (we promise you - they are real!) are on the scene, would like to get more experience of boudoir photography but are nervous about putting themselves out there. They are a couple and are very genuine and also good at what they do. So the question is, if they could show you their shots, would you be interested in getting some classy boudoir shots for your profile or home?

They are good friends of ours and we would just like to help them by showing them that other genuine and nice people may take them up on the offer....

We have shot many profiles for people on here and LS, tell them to have a good gallery on their profile and people will come to them as they have us for pics and films.

We find word of mouth is best, once you have shot a few people word gets around you are trustworthy and its easy going from there.

They will need to show good examples of what they can do on their profile, we hope they do well xx.

I've been a photographer for many years. I've done many model portfolios, weddings, portraits, parties etc. It's a wonder I didn't divorce sooner than I did due to the time I spent in the darkroom I have some of my work on my facebook page, but, I can't put examples of my work on here... oh well...

A couple I met some years ago introduced me to the pleasures of erotic expression and later modelled for a fellow fab member who published a book. Great fun and rewarding.

Nowadays I'm limited by the length of my arms and a lack of mirrors.

Start off doing friends/families weddings & go from there, John does this with his brother film & pics etc.

They always have 2 film/photo cameras just in case of camera failure, its just building confidence.

We are at the Paradise hotel in Blackpool for a few days from the 20th March so if anyone up North needs pics just get in touch, we have full use of their playrooms for pics through the day.

We are fully booked Friday daytime but still have some of Saturday left, always happy to do couples profile pics (no charge).

JanGar, you've got some nice photos there. I like the one of her lying with her head near the camera.

It's a shame you had to cut off her face as with the DoF in there it makes her lips the focal point but they're not on a line of thirds which spoils it slightly. If her face was in shot and her lips were on the line of thirds with bright red lipstick that would be a superb photo.

Also for soft shots like this try using two light sources at 180 degrees to each other to produce some nice core shadows. It's a really nice effect if done right.

There are actually rules for this stuff that you need to know if you want to do it for a living, it's not just personal taste. If you look at all the great painters you'll see they all followed them. I've spent the last three years having them hammered into me in my degree so I can't help but notice them.

But, as you say, art is subjective and if you like the pics then that's great. There's plenty of famous and renowned artwork out there that I don't like.

If I was you I'd avoid all the high contrast objects in the background, it means your eye doesn't have a single focal point to go to and instead jumps around the picture. You want to guide the viewers' eye on the path you've decided on. Some of the Dutch masters were amazing at this.

Take my profile pic for example. The high contrast area is my belly button so your eyes go to that first, then the V of the open trousers (which is also very near to a line of thirds) guides your eye downwards. Then you see the highlight on the bulge in the trousers. After that your eye is free to move around to other parts of the photo.

I do suffer from not having any kind of lighting set up at home though so have to rely on natural light (when it's there).

True, but you have to know the rules first before you can break them.

Orson Wells is a prime example of this. There are some quite crazy shots in his films but he knew the rules so had them in mind when he broke them.

Just because there are rules that in no way implies that following them means all art is the same.

Just looked at your pics Kazz, there's some really nice stuff in there. I love the one with the light coming through blinds onto your body. Even if you don't know the rules you've instinctively used them there. On the left there's a high contrast "frame" on the line of thirds then the strip on your body where the light isn't hitting is also on a line of thirds. That's a VERY nice photo.

Who makes up these rules?? Can you simply not like something for what it is....my best photo is of a feather ...I simply saw a thing of beauty and got a great photo....yes I'm only learning the technical side of it all, but I'm having fun learning it....I dont want my eye for something beautiful to be taken over by what shutter speed or light angle I'm using... But I love the feeling I get when I hit it right....but again that's just me...

aww thanks xxx

though my main point is the pics that ttract the people I meet are why I have porny pics up...personal use is OK..but at the end of it, my profile is out there and not one for having the slow build up of 'teasing' pics.

when it comes to the fact that some of the 'best' pics that get the least attention(on fab I mean), it normally indicates most dont give a fuck if the rule of thirds etc are applied, dont get me wrong, there is more that can be done with a standard pic(regardless of what technology its taken on), but the key to something more visually pleasing is in the editing.

I choose pics, edit them so that they are high contrasty etc..as they appear to appeal to a fabbers eye..they may not appeal to a photographers eye

*I do take pics of other lovely things like snails spiders etc etc lol

I suppose I will add... I'm a photographer..blahh blahh blahh..too many use it under some kind of pretence that they arent sexually motivated by it..

I'm quite honest, I prefer meets where I get to play, or there is a sexual interest......I'd rarely be wasting my time coming 'just to take pics'

even IF i wasnt to play..I'd hope my hardon was noted and how unprofessional I might be

otherwise I'd ask for money

From looking at your photographs I think you've got a natural eye for it. Like I said for that blinds lighting one, it's compositionally excellent. You didn't think about it at the time but you did it without realising it because you knew it looked right.

I totally agree about the right moment. I took what I think is my best photo recently when I was doing a film shoot. It was just a fluke moment of incredible lighting.

And who made up these rules? People like Leonardo Da Vinci.

I spent three hours in the exhibition of his anatomy drawings when it was on at the Queen's Gallery. Just awesome.

"Who makes up these rules?? Can you simply not like something for what it is....my best photo is of a feather ...I simply saw a thing of beauty and got a great photo....yes I'm only learning the technical side of it all, but I'm having fun learning it....I dont want my eye for something beautiful to be taken over by what shutter speed or light angle I'm using... But I love the feeling I get when I hit it right....but again that's just me...

That does awesome... I'm going to have scrub up on my knowledge of the great masters...xx

If anyone in the area fancies some photos doing drop us a message.

"JanGar, you've got some nice photos there.

"

Thanks for the advice, I chose to crop her face out as to keep the photos anon

I'm really jealous of you all, I'd love to go into photography, but often I can't capture the beauty of what I'm seeing.

Lucky people!

"I dont have lights (yet)...googled methods of lighting on the cheap lol...you would be surprised what you can use.. I do prefer natural light too, when possible...."

I've got a ton of lights and Speedlites but this was taken with two B&Q £5 outside lights with leads and 3 pin plugs attached to them!

Thanks all! There's a lot of Rule of Thirds stuff on there

I wished I'd never heard of the Rule of Thirds, it prevents you ever watching TV or Films in peace again as it rarely gets broken and you're forever looking out for it!

I prefer to just take my own pics, its not hard especially with the timer and continuous shot option on most camera phones and a in car phone holder with a windscreen suction cup..
