Nice to look at and play with but I wouldn't want one inside me, I'd be worried it would catch on something!
As far as having it done.... I can't say I fancy having a knitting needle forced through my bell end! |

Hubby has on and it is great. He has a bar instead of a ring and does not get in the way of a bj. When we have sex It is great because the bar goes down and makes the bar longer at the bottom. Best thing he has had done apart from the pain when having it done. I made him get it done so he had no choice lol |

"Thinking of having a pa done as girlfriend had a bloke with one other week what are people's thoughts on this "
I like them, I'm not sure though that you should undergo a body modification based on your reason.
It's your body be sure you want it.
They can be removed they are not normally welded closed. |

So these poor people with all that suffering, could have simply removed them.
They are not welded shut and are not a solid ring?
Boy I bet all those people with damaged teeth, sensitive fillings and ripped condoms feel a bit daft now.
Mind you not as daft as us, welding at the end of a guys penis, what an image.
Ah well you live and learn. |

They open the same as pretty much all body piercing jewellery, as far as I know. They may be fidgety to remove and not as straightforward as changing an earring but except in select circumstances removable.
I'm my many years experience of knowing someone with one I haven't heard of a welded or locked one.
In my optinion the only time that may be considered is likely to be for a chasisty cage to be secured to it and to make there be no chance of escape the pa we welded shut before the cage attached.
Maybe someone knows more... This is based on my experience. |

My other half has had his done, I love it, when it comes to a BJ he takes it out then puts it back in when we move on, it's easy for him to do.
If we meet someone that doesn't like it again he just takes it out.
You don't have to have it in all the time x |

it all depends on jewellery.
mine never gets in the way during oral.
can appreciate that there are many guys on here that have huge rings in their dick, and tbh, that would put V off too |

I had PA some women loved it and some hated. Some women insisted I take it out before penetrating them. It hurt like hell getting it done and was pretty painful for about 6 days afterwards. Especially when peeing. I no longer have my PA in. |

"I have no issues with a p.a infact love them and never saw it as a problem when giving oral. "
It can be a problem if the woman has a pierced tongue. I know a couple who have piercings. One night she was giving him a BJ. As she came up her bar got caught in his PA. She nearly ripped it out. He told me is was very painful. |

Hi the bar idea sounds like a much better idea to me for giving bjs.. I adore giving them and worry it wont be as good for him if hes got a pa hoop as I worry I mightsuck/pull to hard and twist the ball off it haha
Are the bars easy to find? My latest meet has a pa n id rather not have to get him to take it out everytime I wana suck his cock as it detracts from our fun |

You are lucky, them poor buggers with the welded ones do not appear to have that option. |

Well you can start with the risks associated with non-sterile insertion such as transmission of Hepatitis B & C, and HIV.
Meatotomy if the PA is caught on something and is ripped out, urethral stricture, squamous cell carcinoma at the site of insertion, fistula formation and the possibility of contact dermatitis if you've been sold something that isn't surgical grade stainless steel.

So you are still in 2 minds about the issue then? |

Go for it, had mine about ten years, hardly felt a thing, started small first ring was only 2.4mm thick by 20mm internal diameter, have always kept same internal diameter but have slowly increased thickness over the years, now can put in up to 12mm thick, but for day to day wear usually 8mm, but have also got 10mm. Once past 4mm thick you can get rings with screw in balls rather than the clip in ones. Once you use these it can be taken out and changed or removed in seconds so the choice is always there and does not get in the way of fun. I get all my rings off the internet from Body Jewellery Shop, always found them great, after 8mm thick they call them monster rings and go up to 19mm thick and from the reviews some people do use this size. I think for men and women it is a marmite thing, you love them or hate them |

So they had the welded shut variety, I now assume there are 2 types. Removable PAs and welded shut PAs. Think I would go with the removable type.
But now another problem, they cause piercers droop.
Make no wonder you are undecided on this issue. |

I had a dydoe, not as painful, didn't flop about and managed to help hit the g spot a lot more. No probs with bj either if they could take my cock then they'd take that in their mouth too. |

think you will have to take part responsibility for failure to perform.
i know it will rock your egos, but PA's have NO effect on sexual prowess, at all lol
when i am sexually interested, its liek a rod of iron.
it only goes soft if i am uninterested or the person doing something with me is not very good. (and i would expect them to be likewise uninterested if i were doing something wrong, before anyone thinks im saying im great all the time) |

I am more confused now than when I started reading this thread.
They are cancer causing, pee stopping things that are generally so hazardous to health you can only touch them wearing a hazmat suit.
They are a cause of erectile dysfunction.
They cannot be removed, welders love them and dentists do as well.
They appear to have nothing going for them.
Or do they, and does this mean I am a welder or a dentist. |

I'm putting my money on welder; d'ya want the risk assessment in relation to that, particular, occupation.
No, you're making a serious point.
It's all about relative risk and statistics.
Air travel is generally considered 'safe' i.e. number of travellers, miles flown, fatalities but, if an event occurs, it's usually a couple of hundred fatalities.
Rail, slightly more events but the numbers are reducing; a few tens of fatalities and more injuries.
Consider cars; lots of events, frequent fatalities and injuries.
With regard to the PA; risk of tear will depend, very much, on your occupation e.g. Sitting at a desk low, crawling through small spaces with irregular surfaces high.
Stricture; minimal to moderate risk.
HPV infection has multiple variables, sex, age at first intercourse, number of sexual partners, use of condoms, smoking and immune status.
Dermatitis is dependent on the composition of the PA and your immune reaction.

I've had a PA Piercing for quite a few years. It doesn't hurt when it is done (if it does you have gone to the wrong piercer). It's a bit uncomfortable while in the healing process.
Mrs Kinky likes it and there is always the option of removing it whenever you feel like it. It has been removed for a while btw. (Keep checking the ring still goes through the hole though)
It's a great conversation starter. Whapp the knob out and see who cringes the most

I think you may find the "welded" suggestion was a joke x
As for erectile dysfunction that I'm glad to suggest would be a psychological issue
Then the blood disease risk , same as most body piercing and tattoos ie depends on the establishment , if reputable then the needle will be sterile from a sealed package , honestly more chance Lil Sarah will catch hep a from having her ears done xx |

Ooh I could be a dentist in the day and a bit part welder, or neither you never can tell.
You could even be a real Doctor for all I know.
Thanks for all the risk assessment I have read and stored all the vital information. Will certainly be passing it all on to my valued clients and customers.
Anyhow must get back to my surgery and my shop. Both establishments conveniently situated either side of a piercing studio. |

How about a desk jockey that at the weekends loves naked spelunking.
Is it Doctors advice to remove his PA, and if he went straight from the studio to the welders next door. Should he refrain from spelunking in the nude. He could always try as much travel as possible in a bid to get a danger thrill |

I have had mine in for 8 years now, I was shagging an hour after having it done, and a threesome 10 days after.
It is sized up to 8mm thick ring 26mm across inside with a huge ball screw in to hold it in place. Women love how it rubs on their g-spot when on their front. |

"There was Another recent thread on this , and the resounding view from women is it does nothing for them and is off putting for a BJ "
I had a PA and this is so true. Also it hurts like hell getting it done. It is also painful to pee for about 5 - 7 days. |

Since having mine, I've played with several women who haven't tried one before and they've all been very enthusiastic to try. Afterwards, the reactions have been positive. I always wear a 19mm ring when swinging to make BJs easier.
My PA makes sex better for me as well as my playmates. Wish I'd had it years before.

I have piercings but never genital ones. I just dont see the attraction. I have in the past slept with a few guys with pa,s but i've always made them take them out coz they can burst condoms. And im not chipping my teeth on metal. Plus i've found guys with dick metal smell bad. Theyve all been made to go wash. The holes and metal collect the dirt. Its gross. After my last experience 8 years ago i now wont even consider a guy with cock piercings. |

All this talk of welding makes me smile!
To achieve a clean weld the metal is melted and then allowed to fuse and cool. Metal conducts heat efficiently and bearing in mind where this metal is located, down the guys urethra and out under his glans, I doubt VERY much that anyone would be able to endure the pain! Having the piercing done in the first place would surely be bad enough.

I have had one for over 15 years.
It is 6mm and totally removable. Have removed a couple of times if requested. Also use a bar as its sometimes easier.
Have never had a negative reaction, all positive.
The worst experience I've had was at uni when it got caught if g/f's labia piercings. We had to shout for her housemate to untangle us .
