Any suggestions for lube for anal play ? Not getting on at all with the Ann Summers stuff or Durex Play and hubby has a large strap on waiting for him !

Pjur anal lube from lovehoney. It's great, tiny bottle but goes a long way and can use it in the shower

liquid silk - you dont need much, it washes off well and it stays wet for as long as you need it

I guess you're using water based which dries out fast and just goes sticky.

Pjur bodyglide/analglide are silicon based so you stay lubed a lot longer.

I have avoided the silicon based stuff since I heard it can poison you. It may be in small quantities though it will be absorbed into the blood stream. Liquid silk is peace of mind and is well tested for non tackyness I can assure you

It's not able to penetrate the dermis (or your cavities as I understand it) it's only toxic of something like an implant bursts in your body.

Silicone lube should therefore be safe.

I dont know if it's truth or not, but the way I understood it was - it's going into your arse, and it's going to stay in your arse - so there would some kind of absorption (however little). It just seemed to make sense, so I have never used it - especially when there are equally as good water based ones

Ok ta, will try liquid silk but have been through so many water based ones and they've been without exception, shite.

I'm currently using a Doc Johnson Rockeye which is a pretty big, silicon dildo so as others have said silicon lubes are out. The best lube I have found for this is lubrifist which I use both on the toy and with a few ml internally applied using a lube shooter.
