"Where can I buy decent hold ups from?
The ones I've been wearing aren't particularly good at holding up!"
I used to have no problem with holdups until last winter when they started falling down. I think there has been a change in the holding up stuff (sorry about the technical jargon there). Someone suggested some stuff you apply that helps them stay up (more technical jargon) but for the life of me I can't recall its name.

"If you wet the top before putting them on as it dries it sticks better... Have worn hold ups from asda for 8 hrs and no slipped once with that trick "
Yep, and it works on even the cheapest Hold Ups, wet them as you put them on and they really will not move all night |

M & S seem to be the one that last longer according to FB .. £5 per pair . They are sexy and should you wish to wear suspenders with them they are not to bad to hook on to .. |

they're the ones I use and I wear them with suspenders too.
If you fancy some fishnet stocking OP you cant beat the ones from Love Honey. They stretch all ways. I'm 5'7 and a size 18 and they're perfect. |

I have mega problems getting mine to stay up!
Due to a previous thread someone mentioned buying 'staysput' lotion, a bit like a glue from stockings hq - well I bought it but keep forgetting to try it, so not sure how effective it is, but once I do know, I'll let you know |

I was introduced to the joys of hairspray!!!! Once showered/ bothered, make sure you are completely dry and spray all around the tops of your thighs with extra hold hairspray ( even wear the sticky bit is gonna go. Hold in place until dry. Job done! X |

The best ones I have ever brought are French and called dim ups. They are fantastic but really hard to find.
M&S are the second best as they wash up well and stay up even with vigorous exercise. |

I tried this on a meet the other week & guess what? Yep my hold up still rolled down, but this wasn't the worst part, for some reason the guy licked my thigh right where the spray went lol |
