Write a profile rather than a whinge about people. It's not going to encourage people to want to meet you.

You need to let people know what you are looking for and what you can offer.

^This! Women in particular will read a lot into a profile and a detailed, well worded profile will often be the difference between a reply message or not.

Plenty of people won't post face pics on their profile so providing you have other good quality pictures and information about yourself, face pics won't matter until a meet is likely.
