"eh? Are you for or against the use of condoms?" I'm against following facts rather than whipped-up frenzy; and facts say that condoms do very little to prevent infections of any kind. Regarding one-line rhyme-quoting geniuses below: reduce-reuse-recycle! (Sounds smart too, eh?)

"Latex condoms, when used consistently and correctly, are highly effective in preventing the sexual transmission of HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. In addition, consistent and correct use of latex condoms reduces the risk of other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), including diseases transmitted by genital secretions, and to a lesser degree, genital ulcer diseases. Condom use may reduce the risk for genital human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and HPV-associated diseases, e.g., genital warts and cervical cancer." "Laboratory studies have demonstrated that latex condoms provide an essentially impermeable barrier to particles the size of HIV" "Latex condoms, when used consistently and correctly, reduce the risk of transmission of STDs such as gonorrhea, chlamydia, and trichomoniasis." "Genital ulcer diseases and HPV infections can occur in both male and female genital areas that are covered or protected by a latex condom, as well as in areas that are not covered. Consistent and correct use of latex condoms reduces the risk of genital herpes, syphilis, and chancroid only when the infected area or site of potential exposure is protected. Condom use may reduce the risk for HPV infection and HPV-associated diseases (e.g., genital warts and cervical cancer)." I'm not going to die every single time I drive my car without a seatbelt and there is a chance I will still die wearing one, but its far safer to wear one than to not. We use condoms, practise safe sex and get tested regularly because while we enjoy this life style we also like to minimise the risk to us, not eliminate but minimise. I'm never sure why the "anti condom" brigade always need to tell us how wrong we are for wanting to lower our risk and come out with all this baseless "they are lying to you" crap about condoms and protection.

It is about making sex safer.

"eh? Are you for or against the use of condoms? I'm against following facts rather than whipped-up frenzy; and facts say that condoms do very little to prevent infections of any kind. " Against following facts??? (Sorry someone had to point out what I am certain is a typo but made me snigger pedantically )

Regarding one-line rhyme-quoting geniuses below: reduce-reuse-recycle! (Sounds smart too, eh?)" Sorry but I genuinely don't understand. I think the first line of your reply is round the wrong way but other than that I don't know what you mean by reduce, reuse, recycle.

"I'm not exactly sure if this is for or against but, here's my view: I like to think of it as a zombie appocalypse. You have two choices - Either baracade your property and do the best you can to protect yourself and your loved ones or... You can leave the door wide open and greet each walker with a hug. Your choice. - Amy. x" Perfect analogy!

"Centre for disease control seems to disagree Latex condoms, when used consistently and correctly, are highly effective in preventing the sexual transmission of HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. " CDC is not very reliable tbh, but let's examine that: reduces risk. Yeah - BY HOW MUCH? Answer - nobody knows, because relevant research was never made. Research made says that all these pathogens cannot come through the condom. FINE - this is not what I questioned! By the way: if any condom manufacturer had any numerical data, they would have made it their selling point; they don't. I didn't say it doesn't help - merely that it helps almost as much as a helmet for a motorcyclist: World-wide there are rules forcing to wear helmets and all official and government institutions support that, although numbers are ruthless - they reduce the risk of death by less then 1% and risk of permanent injury - by less then 5%. Condom stops HIV-size particles... REALLY?! Doesn't it stop particles size of a molecule of water (orders of magnitude smaller)?? It's not about the condom and cock You gullible people - it's about scrotum, throat, gums, eyeballs - they are much more prone to contract, then a dick. Want to try have sex with condom with sby having herpes simplex or rubella...? NO?! Why...? - well, we all know the answer to that one. All the accusations of preferring bareback - condom is a tad like wearing socks for bath, yet still - don't mind some inconvenience at all, provided it makes some real difference. But it doesn't, that's all. In other words sure I'd wear it, but I know it is no precaution and I prefer med exam results to a dick-glove...

"Don't do drugs kids!! " Yet another "I know better than all these people who spent their lives in research" post. If you're at the point where you are out of hand rubbishing the findings of an organisation like the CDC then I expect you to present your scientific credentials and white paper study to show the counter point, otherwise just accept you're wrong enjoy your bareback fun and leave those of who dont want to alone.

"I lost will to live halfway though o p post Halfway?? You made it that far???? " Oh how intelligent - You read less then a half, wish not to discuss a single point made, yet - You are the one to knows better? Who is full of bs here, huh? Regarding my credentials and CDC - they advocated drugs and therapies that left thousands dead and handicapped, yet now they seem to know better? Funny... In the 50s and 60s smoking was recommended and prescribed by doctors... and they all had great credentials. Guessed why? Yup, money Law prohibits claims that are not substantiated - that's why no condom manufacturer can state certain claims (although they would if they could and that would boost sales sky high). But hey, sheeple - too much writing is baaahhhh-booorinnn' and telly knows betterr...

But if I want to, regardless of the science behind it, then don't have a go at me for doing so. OK? OK? Fab!
"Tested august and November . All Clean but will go regular as it was recommended by the doctor at the clinic why I informed him I was meeting guys off Fabswingers . " I've got my quarterly check-up next Tuesday. I feel the free condoms are the least I can get for having a cotton-bud up my foofoo.

"Sorry if I sound judgmental, but I'd be curious to know if the OP has ever needed to be treated for an STD of if there is any little OP's living without their father right now... " The problem with going bareback and getting tested is that if you've caught something you stand a good chance of passing it on to all and sundry until the next test. I prefer to reduce the risk in advance, and I'm not sure why the OP thinks that's a bad thing.
