If you go through the link for deleting the account on the bottom left of your homepage menu, it gives you that option.

I'm guessing you mean hide?! Go to privacy settings and click hide profile, done

..Go to your private settings it will say hide profile.xx

Please remember though, it only hides the text, any public pics will still be visible, and people can still PM you.

If you dont want to be messaged you may want to hide your public pictures too. I can still see them on my laptop.

I'd set public pics to private/friends only too as people will still get on your profile from hotlists/veries/profile posts
