Ak friend of mine is getting married in Whitstable. Apart from organising a plus one i need to find a decent hotel.

Nobody knows it that well as it reminds his mrs of her childhood seaside holidays but they now live in Reading.

Anyone local make any recommendations as trying to make a long weekend of it...?

Have a look at the 'Fishermens Huts',- right next to the beach and pretty good value this time of year

There's a few travel lodge around the area if you book in advance you'll get them cheap x

Cheers, gonna try for whistable but will move to herne if nothing i fancy. Have been given some good advice by pm also.

I've been to Canterbury a few times as i ised to visit pfizer in sandwich occassionally.
